Customers have expressed concerns about the assembly process of the Harbor View Collection 1 Drawer Filing Cabinet. Multiple users have described it as "not easy to assemble."
This was not the easiest item to put together. Even if you have done this many times my guess is this is a four or five hour project. The desk is sturdy but is particle board with a dark brown veneer. Since I am working from home I needed to make more desk room so this was purchased to hold printer on top with a locking file drawer for files taken home. It is a nice stand for the price but this is a two person job in getting it assembled correctly.

it wasn't easy to assemble, top will get damaged really soon and looks cheaper than the rest of the wood parts. I only bought this because it said it would lock, there was nothing that would hold the lock mechanism on the outside to the right. The drawer has a small plastic that its not in the place near the lock, not even close, theres about half inch gap between that wall and the drawer. extremely disappointed to discover its doesnt lock after all the ordeal of putting it together (took 4 of us and few hours). We will see how it holds.
