First time the team at best buy fitted my screen protector it did not work out well. After 24 to 48 hours it was still streaky with air bubbles underneath. Needless to say I wasn't impressed and I went back to complain as I'd paid for the best buy team to fit my Zagg screen protector. Credit to them they fitted a second screen protector at no cost to me and it was much better than the first attempt. Only one air bubble remained this time after 24 to 48 hours and is in the very bottom corner so not really noticable. I cannot give a good review for this service as it was alot of hassle travelling back to the store in NYC when I was on holiday there to have it re done. In addition the camera glass on the back got scratched during the whole process which annoyed me. I dont really blame the best buy team but if it's that difficult to fit the Zagg screen protectors maybe you shouldn't stock them or offer the service to fit them. I cannot recommend this service as it wasted time on my holiday due the difficult nature in fitting the product and me having to make extra trips to the store and wait while it was re done and worst of all the camera glass on the back got scratched during the process. You may ask how I know it got scratched.... well the phone (galaxy s9 plus) was brand new they fitted a screen protector out of the box and an official samsung case. The phone then went back to my hotel room and sat for 48 hours without use in the safe as I have my work phone to use (iphone). It then returned to the shop to have the case taken off (by best buy) and the screen protector removed and the whole process then repeated (I might add I am meticulous with taking care of my phones and check them thoroughly when I have bought them for any defects). At that point I inspected the phone and noticed the scratch. It can only have been done during the process of fitting the second screen protector.

This is the worst experience I ever had at Best Buy. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S8+ because everyone said how wonderful it was. Of course I wanted to protect the screen, so I bought a curved, case friendly, Zagg glass curved screen. The Best Buy where I bought the phone had one screen left, so we spent the $8.00 to take it to the Geek Squad for installation. Right after the guy peeled the two little strips off of the curved parts to show the two tiny strips of adhesive on each side of the screen I realized that this may not be great. Before we got out of the store the screen protector literally fell off of the phone. Since there was not another screen protector in the store we were sent to another town to get another one. The other store found a screen protector and their Geek Squad put it on the phone. It didn't look like it was really tight on the phone but they seemed satisfied with it. Within a week the screen protector cracked. Since the protector has a lifetime warranty and the $8 installation fee was good for as long as we owned the phone, we returned to the second store to have it replaced. Three employees were at the Samsung booth when we walked up. One young man rudely said that Geek Squad would put on another screen, but that we would have to use the warranty to go online and get it directly from Zagg. I did that, and found that I would have to pay about $10 for Shipping. I was not happy, but paid it anyway. The new screen protector came in yesterday. Still, as there is no Best Buy in my town, which store shouls I take it to for the installation? I dont know if it even can be installed properly--ir if anyone near me knows how to do so. Meanwhile, we have a very expensive Samsung Galaxy S8+ that has not had a screen protector for at leas t 5 of the 6 weeks we have owned it. Maybe we can get the new one pit on this week. Wonder if it will work...!

Bought my Apple Watch and screen shield at BestBuy. Shield bubbled after so contacted Wagg and had another sent to me. Took it same Best Buy, paid to have it put again, bubbled in less than the time frame so took it back to same Best Buy and they argued with me even tho I had the receipt. Eventually, they put it on but we’re unable to get the bubbles out so they told me to come back after a few days and get another one. Went back in and they told me it had been discontinued and there was nothing they could do. I asked them to try and locate one at another store. They found one in San Marcos after having a really bad attuItude and so very rude. I asked them to send it to my house so I wouldn’t have to travel to San Marcos. Got my shield in and now have to go back there and put up with their rudeness again. Will not purchase from Best Buy again.

I went in two days ago to pick up my new screen protector, and decided to pay to have it put on by geek squad at the store instead of struggling with it myself. I was told that it would be 10 min, having not much time to spare 10min sounded good to me. I paid and went on browsing while the 10min we up. i came back to the customer service area after 10min and then ask if my phone is ready it was and i was so delighted to see the new screen on it, however this is where my happiness ended upon further inspection i saw that there was a black spot of dust to the right side of the screen. Mind you this realization came after i had already walked back to my car at first i thought well its a tiny spot maybe i won't notice it that much. Two days later and its driving me crazy i know for some it might not be that big of a deal but i can't stand it I'm the type of person that wipes my screen clean everyday and that tiny little spot is just driving me crazy. Since i paid for the service i would have liked a more carefully done job so that i wouldn't be left with this problem. Now I'm debating whether to go back and see if they will replace it or if they will just refuse to do anything about it

I waited a bit too long to get some protection against scratches on my new iPhone SE, so was relieved when this shield was on and doing its job well. It is definitely worth the $8 to have the BB staff install it well, guaranteed against possible installation screw-ups, and although it doesn't look so impressive right after it is put on, it definitely stretches as advertised and no bubbles are visible under the shield within 12 hrs. Not sure how well it can prevent screen cracking if someone sits on the phone or it falls from a 3ft height, but if worried about, then spend megabucks for a gorilla box, but I don't want the added weight and bulk, and I'm generally very careful with handling my phone. This is all the protection I needed for the screen, while a tight-fitting flexible casing provides protection for the edges, back, and corners. Good product!!!

I had the Zagg glass screen protector installed on a Samsung Galaxy S8. First of all, I thought it was ridiculous that I had to pay an extra $8 for the service - they used to do it for free as a courtesy. Besides that, I have to press hard on the keys, particularly those near the edges, in order for the touch to register. I assumed that the problem was the product itself, but when I returned to Best Buy to see what could be done, the phone sales manager said it might be the way it was installed (by them). I haven't yet obtained a replacement protector to try again, but I'm hoping he's right. He did say they would install the new one for no additional charge, so I guess we'll see if that fixes my problem. My screen protector did come loose just a couple weeks later, and while I put it back in place I accidentally cracked the screen pretty badly, so I guess I would still recommend having Best Buy install it.

PAY THE MAN! If you purchase an iPhone X and desire the security and protection of the Zagg glass screen protector, force the blue shirts to undertake the painstaking process of installing this beast. They will make sure (you might have to check, double check, octuple check...) the screen protector is done right. If they mess up, they will fix it. If the challenge becomes overwhelming and they break the screen protector in a fit of rage (or most likely on accident removing it for the 14th time) they will start over with a new protector, saving you the hassle of owing the credit card company 21% interest on two screen protectors when you only have one phone. So avoid hearing that yelled question “what do you mean you spent $100 dollars on screen protectors?!?!” And save your marriage. Have the blue shirts chase your blues away, and get that in-Store installation.

      A Mixed Experience

Had a mixed experience with screen protector installation on Samsung S8+. Geek Squad really didn't get it on as well as they should have the first time, and the edges wouldn't stay down (due to the curved screen) and collected dust, which made it even worse. A week later I took it back and they replaced the protector, and it was a little better. But I also used a trick that I saw a salesperson do in the store - continually keep rubbing down the sides down on the protector as much as possible over the first couple of days. Today it is staying in place very well. This experience was a bit disappointing as the Geek Squad should have done numerous ones of these and known how to apply better. The sales floor definitely did... But again, since their management was willing to make it right, and I also continued to rub it down in place over the first several days, it is fine at this point.
