The HDHomerun Scribe provides the best picture quality I've found that streams your OTA programs over your internet to various devices. The device runs very cool to the touch so it's has well designed electronics. My frustration was with the Firestick App that I used to interface with the HDHomerun. The App needs some refinement which I'm sure will happen.

Very easy to set up with your home network. Very easy to use the DVR and program unless you're doing it from a Roku. The Roku interface is clunky and impossible to set up recordings. The controls with the Roku remote are not intuitive at all. On the other hand, it works great on an Android phone and the Xbox One. Both are easy to use and program recordings. If the Roku interface was better I would rate it 5 stars. One last thing, you do not have to set up an account until after 1 year. Your free year starts as soon as it connects to the internet. After that it is $35/year.

I purchased this because we did not get local stations and now we do. I have to switch the input ( which my husband hate) but its great
