- A:Answer The ultra has encryption with password protection. Silly me....I thought they all would, so I bought the slim, only to learn that it cannot be password protected.

- A:Answer My owners manual says that it comes formatted as exFAT so that it can be used with both Macs and Windows PCs, but it can be reformatted in your format of choice, such as NTSF or HFS+, etc
