I have a built in cabinet with a small ( 4 inch high) shelf opening in which I could put the projector. But does it need more “clearance” than that to allow for ventilation??
Answered by Vankyo TeamWe recommend placing the projector in an open, well-ventilated area rather than inside a small enclosed shelf. Limited space may restrict airflow and affect heat dissipation during use.
We'd like to install this projector to a ceiling of an outdoor deck. Is this projector outdoor-rated? What accessory do you recommend to install it to a ceiling?
Answered by Vankyo TeamThe projector can be used outdoors, but it is not waterproof or outdoor-rated, so please keep it protected from rain, moisture, and direct exposure to the elements. For the best image quality, we also recommend using it in a relatively dark environment. For ceiling installation, the projector uses a 1/4" mounting screw. You may consider a compatible ceiling mount such as the Vankyo PM50 or PM60.
