I haven't really kept up with MxPx for a few years now. I bought "Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo" when it first came out and was a huge fan, but I guess they just sort of slipped off my radar when I started buying up all the Metal I could find. But anyway, I recently popped in a few MxPx discs and out of curriosity went online to see if they were still around. Turns out I've missed out on quite a bit but I ended up buying this CD and I must say that it did not dissapoint me in the least. I've alway loved MxPx's style of music and it would seem that Secret Weapon is very true to their early punk days, ie: Life in General. I also enjoyed the bonus DVD. It was a lot of fun getting a behind the scenes look at the guys recording the album and just having fun. Two thumbs up!
