These lights work fantastic and connect with google home. The reason I’ve given it 4 stars instead of 5 is only because of the brightness level if they were alittle more poppy like the nano leafs panels it would deserve the 5 star. If you are getting into the RGB light setup throughout your place though it creates a beautiful environment.
I love all the colors available on this bulb and how it works with Alexa. Super easy to add to my existing hub. So many colors and all dimmable. I ended up buying four more, totaling seven colored bulbs. I’ve been using this brand since Christmas and I haven’t had any major issues. Occasionally I will ask Alexa to turn it on or off and she says OK but it doesn’t happen. Then I usually do it by the app or switch. Alexa even changes the color and dims.
I would recommend this to a friend

Bought these to replace a couple of older GE-Link bulbs that used to be on a Wink Hub; now on a zigbee stick. They still worked, but due to their distance from the hub they would often disconnect and if left long enough would drop off the network and have to be paired again.
I'd received a free Sengled White bulb with a Echo Show package and was impressed with it so I decided to give their RGB lights a try. They paired quickly and once put into their location, quickly built in a good mesh; this is important because not only is this keeping them online, it's also helping the other devices in that location.
Brightness level was good for me (not a flood but also not a nightlight!) and I'm really pleased with the color rendition and range. Build is solid and I'd even chance these in an enclosed outdoor fixture; I'm still using GE-Links outside - for well over 6 years now - and the Sengled build is at least a magnitude better.
Competitively priced (and they even go on sale) and solid performer. What's not to like?
My boss originally got these as a gift to give away during our end of year Christmas Party. Then when our bulbs went out I decided to give them a try. The lights are amazing. I ended up buying another pack. Two for our living room. One for our bedroom. And one for the kitchen. Probably need one more pack for the bathroom and entry way... partner them with Alexa and honestly it’s awesome. Even is fun to do the disco color changing mode with my three year old while we are dancing in the living room. Will never go back to normal lights again.
So I purchased these because they were so much cheaper than the Phillips Hues. You will need a bridge with these bulbs. But they also sell wifi bulbs for a little extra money.
I can control them with Google assistant which is really important to me.As for the color I really don't see a difference between them and the hues.I have 4 hues and 2 sengleds side by side and they look great.
I will be looking forward to purchase more of these.
This is by far the most budget friendly smart bulb if you are considering changing all lights in you home. Not that you cannot get cheaper ones but all other cheaper are wifi and those are only handy if you want to change a couple of bulbs only, these ones use a hub which make them lighter on your router than their wifi counterpart.
Amazing light bulbs! You can pretty much change them to whatever color you want, and especially if you have an Alexa, you can tell Alexa to change the light colors turn them off and on with Alexa, and that is really useful. The only problem is that you need to get a hub which makes the lights work, so you need to buy them separately in order for them to work. Apart from that, awesome lights!

Sengled Element Color Plus Starter Kit review:
If you're intrigued by color-changing smart lights from names like Lifx and Philips Hue, but put off by the high price of buying in, then Sengled's newest smart bulb starter kit might be just what you're looking for. At $80 -- roughly the sameFull Review

A:AnswerI don't own amazon devices and have all mine connected to my smartthings hub rather than their sengled hub. By my knowledge Amazon devices are zigbee compatible out of the box and these bulb are zigbee rather than wifi or z wave which are the other two technologies these smart thing devices can be created so it should work without any hub. If you want to buy the hub, don't remember if Best buy sells the hub alone since I got it in one of the bundles but I do know it exist as a separate product , or you could just get the hub and bulb packs.
A:AnswerSengled does have its own app that offers more control, but Google Home can control the lights if you just want basic on/off and only changing to certain colors. If you have a Google home, you can also control them with voice commands once you set that up.
