Really bright!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I live in an apartment where there is no ceiling wiring for lights, and getting the living room to be well lit was always a challenge although I have 4 floor lamps with Phillips Hue smart bulbs and have Hue all over the apartment as well, it wasn't enough or satisfying to have the perfect lighting that I wanted. Then I found that Singled is the only smart LED bulbs that offer 1500 Luminous compared to all others including Phillips Hue that only offer up to 800 Luminous. I bought 2 of them and replaced 2 of the Hue's in the living room and my oh my! for the first time in 3 years Iv'e had the perfect lighting in the room, in fact i had to dim it a little bit as it was so bright. these A19 singled bulbs are truly well made and they are a true replacement for regular A19 100 watt bulbs, they offer a true bright white color and can be dimmed or color changed from warm to cool white. they can also be voice activated, and they work with Alexa, Google home, and SmartThings. you will need the Singled Home Hub if you want to control them via Alexa or Google home. The new Singled Home App is way better than the older version and offers higher response rate and lower delay time. one important thing to note is that you can link up to 64 different Singled bulbs to a single Sengled Hub which is a great upside, and am thinking of replacing all Hue lights in my apartment with Singled bulbs to keep using one app around the house instead of switching between apps. Although I can simply keep both hubs connected and rename them or switch the living room only to be all Sengled powered. Finally, these Sengled home bulbs DO NOT support manual dimmer, meaning if you have a dimmer switch that you want to use a Sengled bulb on, you need to keep the dimmer at the highest at all times and never use it to dimm the lights.

Bright, excellent bulb
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed.I was looking for a bright, Smartthings compatible daylight bulbs, and this is it. They paired with the hub right away, and works well. They come on at the last set level instantly rather than fade in like Hue lights do. I really like that. Instant on, Instant off. Just like the old days, except I don't have to walk across the room and hit a switch. I have a huge Hue ecosystem, and will be using these to replace it with. For those that don't understand the hub, or are resistant to it, let me explain. Using Wi-Fi devices makes more RF noise and adds to the congestion of an already slow network. You use Wi-Fi bulbs, your neighbors use Wi-Fi bulbs, you get all these little devices adding to an already congested band. Zigbee and Z Wave need a hub, but they don't add to the congestion of Wi-Fi. Yes Zigbee lives in the same frequency range, but you can adjust it so they don't operate in the same channels. Zigbee does not typically interfere with Wi-Fi even if they are on the same channel. It is tiny compared to Wi-Fi. Also, these devices act as repeaters to help further devices connect back to the hub. My neighborhood has a lot of RF noise. I can see it all over the place when I do site surveys. Using a hub for my smart home, and moving everything off of 2.4GHz to 5GHz that I can has made a huge difference in the performance of my devices. Also, having a hub allows you to use many more sensors that can help automate your home.

100watts
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. As with other Singled bulbs, this bulb was easy to set up and then add to our Alexa for Vice control and routines. It’s the only 100watt smart bulb I had found and can be dimmed as needed.

Q: QuestionCan yo use this bulb WITHHOUT the hub? I just want LED lightbulb to replace my 100 watt regular bulb and not the hub. I truly only have one lamp that needs a bulb but don't want to keep buying bulbs so frequently & paying more for electric when on long.
Asked by AnnG.
- A:Answer No, this bulb requires a hub. If you think you will end up with an ecosystem of smart bulbs, go for the hub. No point in clogging your Wi-Fi with a bunch of lightbulbs. If you just want a dumb LED bulb go to a homestore and buy an LED bulb. Way cheaper. If you are just looking for one smart bulb, and don't want to automate your home, then and only then would a Wi-Fi bulb be recommended, and this one isn't it. There are several options out there.

Q: QuestionHow bright is this bulb What is the light put out compared to.

- A:Answer It is definitely brighter than the bulbs they replaced, which were 60W equivalent. I'd say this is close to 100W output.
