Experience the future of audio with these Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Bluetooth earbuds. Featuring 7mm dynamic drivers and an ergonomic design, these earbuds provide an immersive and consistently comfortable listening experience. These Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Bluetooth earbuds include a stylish charging case that extends battery life for up to 12 hours.
Living in New York City, you can’t help notice that it seems every other person on the street is walking around with earbud headphones. It’s as much a functional accessory as it has become a status and fashion symbol. They are usually white and have little stems that hang down from the ears. I have typically been an early adopter of technology and have tried a few different types of earbuds, never finding ones that worked well. They disconnect when you run, turn your head, move your phone and the voice and audio quality is fair or just poor. I have returned every pair I have owned.
That’s why I still use an “old-fashioned” mono style Bluetooth earpiece – until now. I owned and operated a camera and video superstore for over 25 years. So, when I heard one of the most trusted brands in our industry had high-quality ear buds I ran out and got a pair of Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones at Best Buy.
Pairing to my smartphone was easy and almost automatic. Their app, “Sennheiser Smart Control” is also easy to use. It has limited functionality but has an equalizer and the ability to reduce eliminate noise-canceling through the “Transparent Hearing” setting. This allows you to chose whether to hear outside noises or not. That’s very cool.
All controls are available though a press on the outer buttons on the buds. Push on the right side for volume up and left side for volume down. That’s very cool.
Another cool feature is the buds turn off music when you take one out of your ear and they turn on and off (and pair) when you take them in and out of the very high quality charging case. They come with several sizes of ear fittings and they are very comfortable and snug in my ears.
Performance: I ran with them and they stayed put in my ears. I walked with them for several hours and was not tired of them at all. I used them in the rain, moved my phone around on my body and they stayed paired flawlessly with no skips. Sound quality is great on both listing and speaking and the volume goes very high, which is unusual for their small size.
When I consider factors such as ergonomics, performance, size and fit, I can say with confidence that these Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones are the best Bluetooth listening devices I have ever used.
Sennheiser’s flagship MOMENTUM range of headphones continues to break new ground through an outstanding fusion of advanced technology, uncompromised sound performance and the highest quality materials. They have brought their peerless MOMENTUM ethos to a breakthrough new product – the MOMENTUM True Wireless. The premium Bluetooth earbuds set new standards for audio quality, comfort and craftsmanship.
So, I guess it’s time to retire my “old-fashioned” mono style Bluetooth earpiece. I will be enjoying a new way of listening to my phone audio, but I won’t have any ugly white stems hanging from my ears.

I am loving these new Sennheiser Earbud Headphones

For the past couple of weeks I have ditched my white wireless headphones and I have been listening to music and watching videos on these new wireless headphones from Sennheiser now available at Best Buy.
I have been running, walking, talking, driving, slip sliding, relaxing and chillaxing for the past couple of weeks and I have to honestly tell you I am loving the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones.
I used to travel a fair amount (nearly 2 million actual flown miles on Delta) and I was an early adopter of noise-cancelling headphones. But I was always getting tangled in my cords. I then moved on to Bluetooth headphones.
The challenge I had with some of my original Bluetooth headphones is that I could maybe get a couple hours with of music listening, but then it would die and I’d be stuck listening to the noise of the airplane.
The same would go for working out at the gym or on my treadmill. The corded headphones caused a few treadmill or weightlifting mishaps and so for me it has been Bluetooth headphones for about the past 10 years.
With changes in Bluetooth technology and phones, wireless headphones were always playing catch up. With the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones, you will be rocking with Bluetooth 5.0.
According to HowToGeek.com, Bluetooth 5.0 provides Bluetooth Low Energy to reduce power consumption, play audio on two connected devices at the same time (way too cool) and improved speed and a greater range (up to 800 feet).
All of this adds up to a greater audio experience in my opinion, while also providing low latency for exception audio and video synchronization. I did not notice any “dub” effect or lag in any videos I have watched. Not the case with some other Bluetooth headphones that I have previously used.
When it comes to sound quality, the Sennhesier MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones is truly superior to all Bluetooth wireless headphones I have tried to date.
With the Smart Control app, you can customize your bass and treble outputs to truly make this a personalized listening experience. For me, I prefer more treble than I do bass, which is easy to change.
With the design of the headphones, they fit snug into your ears and it really blocks out a fair amount of ambient noise. This is great for listening to audio and video, but sometimes if someone is talking to you it can be hard to hear.
Alas, Sennheiser has this figured out and you can enable Transparent Hearing either through the app or by double tapping the right earbud.
This feature allows you to hear important announcements or surrounding sirens – all while your music continues to play and without having to remove your earbuds.
When it comes to making telephone calls, these Sennheiser earbuds incorporates Two-Mic noice cancellation beam technology, which helps deliver high quality voice pick up even in the most noisy areas like a supermarket or train station.
Once you pull your Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud headphones out of the sleek carrying case, they will automatically power up.
To pair to your smartphone, computer or Smart Control app, you will press each button of the earbuds and hold for five seconds. Pairing is super easy, fast and enables you to quickly move between devices.
The headphones come with four different sizing buds, which is great for me as I have two different sized ear canals which sometimes makes for a challenge when it comes to various earbuds.
Insert the earbuds into your ear and slide backwards slightly to lock them in place. These earbuds are so easy to get in and out of my ears and I hardly even notice that I am wearing them as they are comfortable.
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones are great for physical activity. I have been able to pound the treadmill at a high rate of speed.
To control the headphones you can quickly control music with a push or two of the button in the left earbud. The button for the right earbud controls call functions, such as accepting, ending and rejecting.
I haven’t had any issues with the headphones coming out of my ears and when I sweat no issues at all with these headphones slipping out of my ears.
Depending on the mobile phone, one quick push of the right button and Siri, Google Assistant or Baidu is quickly at your fingertips or shall I say at your voice lips.
What about volume control? You’re covered with that functionality by either holding in the right earbud button to increase volume or the left earbud button to decrease volume.
The compact, sleek and slim carrying and charging case will provide up to four hours of listening per charge as well as an additional two charges – for a total of 12 hours of listening time before you have to charge up the case.
For me, I have been getting about 75 minutes of talk time before my charge goes to zero and about 4 hours and 15 minutes of listening time before my charge is depleted.
One thing I have noticed is that my left earbud seems to be on average at 93% after charging overnight and my right earbud is at 100% overnight. Not quite sure why this is the case, but thought I would point this out.
For those of you that might be used to Apple products, the Sennheiser case is powered by a USB-C charging port, so this will work well for a new MacBook pro charger.
I would have also loved to have a longer charging cord because right now I have to mainly charge off of my USB port on my computer as the cord isn’t long enough for me to charge on my kitchen counter. An extra three or four inches of charging cord length would have been ideal.
I do find that the carrying case is a little uncomfortable in my pocket as it is larger than other wireless earbud charging cases – however, I do find that the case is easier to find in the event I misplace it. I also have noticed it was easier to find in my pants before I washed my jeans.
Overall I am definitely loving my Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones.
The sound quality, latency, touch control, carrying case and amazing ability to easily switch between talking and audio/video output makes these a great addition for any audiophile or lover of a quality earbud headphone.
Had I been able to give this 4.5 stars I totally would have. I would give this a 5 for audio quality and ease of use, but a four for the carrying case size and the adjustment needed for comfort.
Right now these earbud headphones are perfect for me and hopefully you will agree.

In our family headphones are a big deal. Headphones are part of our daily life as well as one of the top go-to items when we travel. My husband and I use headphones to listen to favorite music and stream movies while we work. Our son with autism uses headphones to help him calm down and tune noises. For years, we’ve looked for small sized headphones to pack, but the trouble is that when we've settled for the smaller headphones the quality of the sound was just not there.
After years of looking around for a set of compact headphones with an exceptional sound, we finally came across the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless earbud headphones. These small buds manage to combine advanced technology with uncompromised sound performance.
One of the things our son hated for years was the pressure of the headphones against his ears on long haul flights. Well, these certainly fix the problem.
Though quite large and hefty for wireless buds, the momentums provide excellent noise cancellation. For the first time in years, our son can sit and listen to his movies for hours totally undisturbed.
I’ve got to admit that when I first saw the earbuds, I was pretty skeptical about how good they could be.
I was wrong!
The sound is impressive. Those little buds manage to deliver superb clarity that I haven’t come across in any other headphones- wireless or wired.
The folks at Sennheiser know their wireless buds are among the most expensive in their class, so they made sure to use the top of the line technology in the design. There are so many adjectives Id like to use to describe them, but I will only use a selected few that come to mind like; compact, elegant, and packable!
But as a mom, my favorite feature is the transparent hearing.
The earbuds can go from soundproof to being able to hear what’s going on around you just by tapping the right ear twice. Mmm, no more excuses starting with 'Mom, I didn't hear you...'
What you should know
Since the buds come with no buttons switches or labels, you might be slightly puzzled at first how the earbuds work. To start you off here some helpful tips:
#download the free app for ioS and Android. It will help control, personalize, update, and configure your headphones.
#hold both touchpads for 5 seconds to turn on pairing mode.
# tap left earbud once to play and pause music.
#hold left bud to control music volume.tap right earbud once to access Google Assistant, Siri or Cortana.
#tap right bud to answer phone calls.
#the earbuds have four adjustable sizes. It may take a few minutes and trials to get the right fit, but it is worth it.
#Check pockets before doing laundry! As I mentioned before these pups are super small and can be forgotten in a pocket.
Worth the price?
Again, it depends on your needs but our short answer is yes.
If you enjoy the crisp sound on headphones and seek quality, these buds are a great investment. At a $300 price tag, they are on the pricier side; but for tech buffs and avid listeners to music, they are the way to go.

Equipment: iPhone XS Max 512gb (iOS 12.1.2)
Apps: Tidal, YouTube, Sennheiser Smart Control
These earbuds are receiving consistently positive reviews, and I honestly cannot see why. I purchased these with very high hopes of replacing my AirPods with earbuds that offer better sound quality. These did not fulfill that want.
These earbuds are MASSIVE. They are extremely thick and do not feel right in the ear. After trying all four sets of rubber tips, I ended up barely favoring the XS set, even though my ears are average sized. When these earbuds are inserted, they press up against the inner perimeter of your ear, which at first makes them feel secure, but then make them ache after five minutes of use. And if you even slightly touch them or move your head to look up or down, they become loose and start slowly sliding out.
The battery life is pretty decent while wearing them, as I was typically able to achieve about 3.25 hrs per charge at about 40-50% volume. However, my left earbud would always have about 7% less battery than the right for some reason, even when both started at 100%. I am very confused as to why the massive case only offers an additional 8 hours of battery life. Although the case is not huge compared to other true wireless earbuds, it’s bulk makes me wonder why the case is so thick with a tiny battery. I did not experience any connection issues while pairing or while using the earbuds. In terms of audio delay when watching videos, it is barely noticeable. If you are picky you can spot it, but almost everyone will never see it.
I have no idea where these reviews of terrific sound quality are originating from. I tried them and felt they were far worse than my AirPods. No matter what settings I had the app’s equalizer set to, they always sounded muddy. The bass response is minimal at best, which is a huge disappointment. The treble sounds to be the most prominent, but not by much. Miss and bass just sound washed out, and the sound I experienced felt flatlined with a blanket over it. They block out noise PASSIVELY (not actively like others are stating) fairly well, until they start sliding out.
The case they come in feels cheap because it is. The exterior woven fabric certainly adds a nice look and feel, but the use of plastic for the case makes the hinge wobbly and the experience feel under par. The earbuds themselves are made of plastic as well, and they also feel cheap. The uncomfortable feeling I experienced possibly could have been offset by at least offering a rubber exterior or something slightly more premium.
The straw that broke the camel’s back for these was the random popping I was experiencing watching YouTube videos. In three videos I watched with dialogue, I was hearing random electrostatic-sounding noises from the right earbud. I thought these noises were coming from the videos themselves, so I decided to listen to the same sections with my AirPods and did not hear them. These pops were extraordinarily loud, despite my volume. The utilization of Qualcomm drivers may have something to do with this. It’s just weird how very specific moments in videos produced this. They were not random, and I did go back after a few hours passed to retest this, and I was able to replicate the pops every time.
Overall, I have little to positively say about these earbuds. They’re painfully uncomfortable, offer lousy sound, and have technical issues that should not plague a $300 set of earbuds. Although AirPods are far from being the best-sounding earbuds in the world, their $159.00 price tag puts these to shame. Nearly double the price downgrades my. sound quality, battery life, and technical reliability. But hey, Sennheiser’s case looks pretty.

I was so excited when my Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones arrived in the mail. I could not wait to try these out. I have a pair of blue tooth headphones I like to use when I work out or at work but they still have wires that get in the way and get tangled up.
They also do not fall out when you work out! As you can see from this picture, I was getting super sweaty from the elliptical and doing burpees and planks! They stayed in the entire workout. No readjustment needed.
One of my favorite features of the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones is when you take one ear bud out the headphones automatically pause - called smart pause. I also LOVE that it was super easy to connect the headphones via Bluetooth 5.0. The connection and sound is great.
I would highly recommend these headphones for someone who loves to listen to music or podcasts and wants great sound without the hassle of cords or wires! These earphones are super comfortable as well so you can wear for hours on end without discomfort in your ears.

The earbuds are very comfortable for me to say the least, they sound better than my Bose Soundsports but aren't as loud. Transparent hearing does work although it doesnt seem useful for me. I still find myself taking out an earbud when someone speaks to me. The app required to tweak the EQ is what I do not like at all. Bluetooth connection to my S8 plus works just fine, but when you launch the app it never connects to the earbuds although they are connected to my phone. After a few attempts to "retry connection" via the app, a prompt comes up and asks you to turn on and off location services and it still doesnt work. I find that spamming the retry button eventually gets you connected. But, if you leave the app and come back to it, the connection is lost again. Its mildly annoying. One major issue that is bugging me is a crackling sound that I hear in my right earbud. It isn't a constant cracking but it only happens during certain times of a song, I guess at a certain frequency? I'm not sure but it's in everything I listen to. I'm disappointed, I really enjoy the design, comfort, and sound quality (minus the crackling). I'm considering a return and purchasing the M&D MW07s instead.

The best sounding true wireless headphones

I’ve been holding out for a while on purchasing a pair of “true” wireless earbuds. I’ve been using the Bose SoundSport Wireless for a few years now, which are already pretty good wireless headphones, but they’re not “true” wireless. I purchased my Sennheiser Momentum’s from Sennheiser because BestBuy had them on backorded when they first came out. I have to say that I am very impressed by the sound quality as an audiophile. My favorite pair of wireless headphones to this date are my Bang and Olufsen Beoplay H7’s (which are around the ear headphones), and I have to say that these have a similar sound signature to those, which is very high praise for true wireless earbuds. The sound is very detailed and rich, and I love how you can change the sound profile in the app, much like the H7’s. They’re also one of the better looking true wireless earbuds in my opinion, not like those stupid toothbrushes everyone is wearing these days (AirPods). The case they come in is also very nice, and so far the battery life has been decent. My only complaint is the same issue others have been experiencing with the battery. It seems like the issue has gotten better the more I’ve used them, but sometime when you put the earbuds back into the case, they won’t automatically turn off and disconnect from your phone, causing them to be completely dead the next time you use them, but this can probably be fixed with a firmware update. Otherwise these are definitely the best true wireless earbuds on the market.

Too many issues for a $300 True wireless earbud

I'm not a new comer to wireless earbuds or wireless headphones. I currently have the Jabra Elite Sport, Jabra 65t, and the Jlabs Jbuds air. While the Sennheiser MTW has the best sound quality out of all of them. There just to many quirks with it. First is with the touch controls. The right side touch controls would stop working 30 seconds or so after I took them out of the storage box. So I could not turn up the volume, turn on/off transparency mode, etc. I reset the earbuds multiple times but it would still happen. Second is transparency mode if you want to call it that. I couldn't tell a difference when it was on or off. Third was with the Sennheiser app sometimes the earbuds would be connected to my phone (as I was listening to music) but for some reason the app would not connect. You use the app for the EQ, and another way to turn on Transparency mode. And lastly when playing bass notes the left ear bud makes a metallic reverberation/noise at first I thought that the speaker was blown but after reading comments on the web I guess this is a flaw others are having as well. So to add it all up it is not worth the $300. Hopefully they can fix these issues with a firmware upgrade.

Sennheiser's Truly Wireless Earbuds Sound Impossibly Good
I walked into this review hoping to be disappointed. Ever since I first reviewed them four years ago, the over-ear Sennheiser Momentum Wireless has been the model to beat in terms of supreme sound quality in the world of Bluetooth headphones. SoFull Review
Best answer: They do well in blocking out noise like say in a classroom or office. I can still hear people speaking, it just sounds muffled to me. But it is only passive sound cancelling, so in other words, how good the seal is in your ear. I'm sure you will still hear some lawnmower noise since it's quite loud
