Horrible USB Sound Card, Go with Game Zero's

The build quality of the headset itself is good. Not nearly as good as the game zero's but still sturdy, light, and comfy for hours. My biggest complaint is the sound card. The digitization of the sound card actually takes the microphone quality and destroys it. It makes you sound like you are underwater, or have a pillow over your mouth. I owned the Game Zeros Prior to this and let me tell you it was a night and day difference in the quality of the mic. The Drivers and the sound itself was decent however they don't get as loud as I would like. You really should have an AMP with this high impedance Sennheiser headsets. They are not worth the price point at all. I would get the Game Zero's or the new Sennheiser GSP600 series.

I've always been a big Sennheiser headphone fan. These combine the excellent audio quality of the HD5xx series of headphones, with an excellent boom mic. The audio quality is good enough for just listening to music in the highest fidelity possible. The open-back design creates a large sound stage and provides the added benefit of being able to hear yourself and your surroundings. The microphone is clear and has EXCELLENT noise cancelling. Even sitting next to a noisy 3D printer, players in my party couldn't hear it and were clearly able to hear me. I've used a lot of gaming headsets, and these are the best available right now. Period.

Note: This rating is of the headphones specifically. The Headphones are VERY comfortable even when wearing glasses, and I find that they do not get dirty for the material used for the earcups. Sound quality is Sennheiser. The mic is fantastic, friends have stated there is a noticeable difference over my old Steelseries Siberia v2 headset. The only gripe is the software that comes with as there is no custom mode, and the presets are kindof garbage. However, the default sound is still good. I do like having the in-line mic audio a lot though.

Be sure to look up price matches because this headset is pricey, but worth it. Also, be sure to download the drivers online. • Extremely comfortable • Different sound settings for a variety of applications • Stereo and surround sound dongle

Sennheiser is great at doing a lot of things, namely in the audio space. Headphones, microphones and the like. When Sennheiser combines the two and creates a gaming headset, you'd expect it to be pretty good, if not great. The 373D is an attemptFull Review
