As a lifelong bike racer/tourer, near retirement age, I purchased this bike when it was 50% off. The bike was delivered in a big cardboard box, unboxing was easy by pulling out the two twist locks on the side of the box. I recommend watching unboxing and assembly instruction videos on Youtube ahead of time. The bike came almost assembled and anyone can put it together within half an hour. All the tools necessary to aid assembly came in the box. The bike is gorgeous and light compared to other e-bikes with the same specification. Thus, all wirings are well hidden on this bike which makes it unique. All I can say is this bike looks and feel premium, well put together bike. I can say this because I have owned racing bikes that are much more expensive. I give this bike 5/5 on build and component quality. Knowing that this bike is equipped with an Enviolo Automatiq shifting hub, I downloaded their phone app beforehand. Once the bike was turned on the first time I synced the hub controller with the app and it initiated the firmware installation, which took only a few minutes to complete. I found this bike was built in the year 2021 and is not compatible with the Serial1 app. However, it is not a drawback since the Enviolo app is what I need to change the shifting point when riding. The ride: I rode around about 100 miles on mostly gravel roads and found the original tires and saddle are a little on the stiff side. Hence, I replaced the tires with a pair of tubeless gravel tires and the saddle with Brooks B17 with spring for touring as well as a pair of good flat pedals. The bike now becomes really supple and responsive on gravels. If you use this bike for city commute, you only need to change the saddle to your liking. I then took the bike out on an overnight camping trip 30 miles one way from home. I packed as much as I could into four Ortlieb bags and mounted them on the front and rear racks. I made sure the luggage are as close to the 10kg limit on each rack. Although this is usually less weight than on a real tour but is a lot more weight than a 1-night camping trip, I want to see if the racks are holding up on gravel roads. I am happy to say they are holding up well, nothing rattled or loosened on this trip. Range: I have tested riding in mixed eco and tour and found the range is on par with the range estimate from the Serial1 rating. Conclusion: this is the best buy when it goes on sale. You cannot get a well-built e-bike with Enviolo automatic hub and belt drive at this price. The Brose motor is from a German company and the Enviolo hub is originally from the U.S but is now made in Europe and is famous for its maintenance-free and longevity. The Automatiq shifting is sweet once you are dialed in your comfortable cadence by using the app. This bike is comparable to a mid-range e-bike from Trek / Cannondale but with a slicker look.
