Synopsis

Sex Drive
Josh Zuckerman, Amanda Crew, and James Marsden star in this teen sex comedy concerning an inexperienced adolescent who rounds up the gang for a road trip from Chicago to Knoxville after receiving a particularly enticing message from a girl he met on the Internet. Ian (Zuckerman) has just turned 18, and he feels like the last American virgin. He works at the mall donut shop, he's taunted by his womanizing older brother, Rex (Marsden), and he's even losing ladies to his 14-year-old brother. Having struck out time and again with his dream girl and longtime best friend, Felicia (Crew), Ian finally resorts to logging on and looking for a date online. In a stunning turn of events, Ian manages to chat up a beautiful blonde named Ms. Tasty, who's eager to be his first. She's fun, she's sexy, and she's everything that Ian has ever wanted in a girlfriend. The only thing preventing them from consummating their relationship now is the distance between them; Ian lives in Chicago and Ms. Tasty lives 500 miles away in Knoxville. But it's easy to pretend that you're someone you're not online, and Ian hasn't exactly been honest about his appearance in the first place. Still, he's sure he could charm Ms. Tasty all the same once he meets her in person, so he takes the advice of his best friend Lance (Clark Duke) and prepares to take Ms. Tasty up on her offer to "go all the way" for him if he "drives all the way" for her. But everyone knows that a road trip is no fun alone, so in order to keep him company on the road Ian invites Lance and Felicia along for the ride. Later, after stopping off to party at an Amish rave and facing a series of hilarious setbacks, Ian finally meets the girl of his dreams. Unexpectedly, things don't go quite as planned.. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

    Lots of humor

The movie was actually funny after viewing it. I thought it was going to be dumb because of how the main characters were losers and they were worst losers than the guys from Superbad. That's probably what made them funny because the humor always came out when these guys were in the most horrible scenarios. The plot was horrible and actually added to the humor aspect. If the guys would not have been trying to get to the internet girl, the movie would have been boring and no one would have cared to see the losers keep showing the viewers how much they had no lives. The older brother was crazy and obnoxious. James Marsden is so funny in these type of roles. The guy from Hot Tub Time Machine is one of the guys, I knew he was going somewhere after this role. He was funny throughout the movie. Overall, if nothing else is on tv and want to laugh, it is worth checking out.

This movie makes you care about it's characters, not just it's plot. It's about a boy named Ian(Josh Zuckerman),his buddy Lance(Clark Duke),and Ian's best friend/girlfriend Felicia(Amanda Crew)who go from Brookfield,Illinois to Knoxville,Tennessee to visit "Ms.Tasty"(Katrina Bowden)a girl Ian chats with online, and is willing to go all the way with him.So Ian steals his older brother Rex's(James Marsden)car,a 1969 Pontiac GTO.Felicia gets drag into because Ian tells her he's going to visit his sick grandmother.Lance is Ian's nerdy, but cool with the ladies friend who wants to see his boy get laid. It's cleverly disguised as a comedy, but also a caring, compassionate movie. The movie comes off quite good,I thought it was going to be boring, and be non entertaining, but it's the complete opposite.

I found myself laughing the entire movie. The whole movie is great from start to finish. Their are alot of new faces in this film, all of which have a long carrer ahead of them. I am a comedy phein, I also am very critical of the "college" style humor. This movie met all my expectations. However, make sure you either watch the theatrical version first then the extended or not the extended at all, its kinda lame

This is an absolutely hilarious teen comedy that should have been much better received. I loved it but take the advice of the filmmakers and do NOT watch the unrated version until after watching the regular film first. It is not like most unrated versions and it could potentially ruin the film's experience if it is your first viewing,

Insanely funny teenage comedy, with road tripping, seeking to score with babes, and so many hilarious performances by the entire cast. Definitely not for the little ones, thanks to all of the suggestive language and nudity.

This is the definition of a cult comedy. The unrated for fans version is superb. One of my all time favorites.
