A: For best performance and longevity we recommend cleaning your brushroll manually after any intense cleaning event such as a large spill or after cleaning a large, heavily trafficked area. Rinse off any leftover debris with tap water. It is not recommended using bleach or fabric softeners as they may damage the brushroll or leave a coating that will reduce their cleaning performance and absorbency. Towel or air dry. Loose fibers can indicate wearing of the microfiber fabric. Do not pull the loose fibers. Trim them with scissors. We recommend replacing brushrolls every 6 months.
Q: Can I use on ceramic tile not grouted?
A: This Shark is designed for use on most hard floor surfaces. We recommend that you first test an isolated area of the surface to be cleaned and review the use and care instructions from your floor manufacturer. Surfaces and materials where the steam mop should not be used include wax-polished furniture or floors, unsealed or unglazed ceramic floors, unsealed wooden floors, waxed floors, and some unwaxed floors.
