Keep the sharks a coming SyFy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that these movies are still being made. In my personal opinion, I think they keep getting better as the series progresses. Syfy realizes they have a hit on their hands, and they're gonna keep making them bigger, better, sillier, campier and cheesier. The 4th Awakens title is obviously a spoof of 'Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, and I was happy when this film opened with the Star Wars type scroll. The trailer was very misleading, I thought the whole film was gonna take place in Las Vegas over a course of one night, but that was just the opening act. The film takes place five years after the events of Sharknado 3. Since then, Aston Reynolds has developed the Astro-X corporation and its weather-regulating technology. Fin Shepard and his family have lived in peace and he decides to take a vacation in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, a new Sharknado awakens and puts everyone in peril once again. Not only is it just a Sharknado, but now they are more powerful Fueled by alternate materials, we're now faced with sandnados, oilnados, firenados, bouldernados, cownados, lightningnados and even an atomicnado. Will Fin and his family be able to stop these newer tougher Sharknados? I loved all the random cameos and references to other films such as The Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and even John Carpenter's Christine. I think this is my 2nd favorite after Sharknado 2: The Second One. If you love bad cheesy campy B-movies, you'll definitely love SHARKNADO: THE 4TH AWAKENS!!!

Sharknado Never Disappoints!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well for the fourth straight year we get the next chapter called Sharknado The 4th Awakens in an obvious parody to Star Wars The Force Awakens. All of our favorite characters are back here..Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, David Hasselhoff, and even Gary Busey. There's also tons of cameos by anybody whose anything in movies, television, news, sports, music, or entertainment. Our heroes return to do battle with even more sharks. No matter how bad anyone says these films are they are the best at being bad. Anthony C. Ferrante returns as director again and The Sharknado films help to continue to bring The Asylum movies to a bigger wider audience. With the SyFy channel and Cinedigm helping there could be 10 Sharknado movies by 2022? Who knows, as long as the support, ratings, and money keeps coming in, they will keep making them..ala Saw, Friday The 13th, Halloween, Chucky, Hellraiser, Elm Street, Chainsaw Massacres etc. If you like movies with action, adventure, disaster, and elements of horror similar to a comic book....pick this one up..Next Year Sharknado Will Return In 2017!!

Solid Blu-ray with a fun promo item.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Asylum has scaled way back on releasing their titles onto Blu-ray, opting for only DVD instead. It's a shame, since they usually do great work with their Blu-ray releases. The Sharknado series is one of the few cases in which we get a Blu-ray release from them. This 4th film features great hi-def video & audio. And, the Best Buy version includes a fun Sharknado bottle-opener. The series is pretty well established at this point, with an even greater emphasis on cameo's in this 4th film.

A Waky, Hak-em-up (Again) 4th...Nados!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In order to truly enjoy these BIG FAT FISHIE Movies you got to have a certain type of inborn Waky humor..... When I watched the first SHARKNADO MOVIE- It hooked & reeled me in.....!!! (Sharks swim-flying inside tornados bent on eating anything they fly into....(what a concept I thought,) & a refreshingly different type of "fishbone" fun to watch!!! Since that first movie I was hoping for a sequel to appear.....my wish was granted....& Now THE FOURTH (sequel) AWAKENS.....& it keeps getting better.... (This one takes THAT bait & THEN some...). Hope they continue to MAKE MORE......

silly fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it's one of the dumbest concepts for a movie but so ridiculously stupid it is great. Different than the Airplane/Naked Gun stupid fun....but fun none the less. If you liked the first 3...this is not a let down.

Great mindless entertainment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you liked the first three Sharknado movies, then you'll likely enjoy this one as well. It makes no sense and it's not supposed to. Just sit back and take it all in while waiting for Sharknado 5.

The best of the worst!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most sequels get progressively worse. This is the absolute best of the Sharknado franchise. Entertaining cheesy sci-fi, celebrity cameos, and a fun count-the-movie-references party game! Who could ask for anything more? And a big thank you to Greg in the Duarte store for going above and beyond in helping me find a copy before my weekend trip!

It is what you expect.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my father in-law and watched it for him. The "it's so bad it's good" is not my thing. But it was good for what it was suppose to be. It killed time and was entertaining enough.
