Great product for the price
Posted .I just bought this TV at the beginning of December 2014 and so far I'm really happy wit my purchase, Great Picture, Good Volume, 3 HDMI Inputs, USB Ports, PC In, Component/audio Input, Digital audio out and Great Slick look. Also the price for this TV it has Dropped a couple of times on this past two weeks and best buy had been reimbursing me the difference every time the price changed.

This is an excellent TV.
|Posted .Excellent picture, easy to set up and use.Hokked up a sound bar to the TV,sounds ghreat when I have both the sound bar and TV audio on.Also use a Roku 3 and Panasonic DVD player with this TV.3 HDMI inputs is why I chose this Sharp TV.Really do love it.Have it on a stand right now, bought an all way pivot wall mount...soon to be attached to the wall.

Good price for a nice picture
|Posted .My old plasma TV died after only 3 years, so I needed a TV and didn't have time to shop around and compare. I am very pleased with the Sharp 50". The picture quality is excellent. It was easy to set up with my home theater system.

Great TV for the price

Pic quality fair, but I think I need to exchange
|Posted .Very easy to setup and the picture quality is just as I imagined a $399 50" TV (not the best), but I have about 3 inches on the right side of the screen that is blank. I've tried to adjust the settings on the Dish settings as well as the Sharp settings, and it doesn't help. I will need help in what I do to return this TV. Again, I don't mind the quality for the price, I just would like the TV to show the image on the entire screen.

Q: QuestionNo internet connection???There is no information available about theis TV anywhere online, including on Sharp's own web site. That alone makes me wary of this set. But everything I can find about it on your site suggests it has NO internet connectivity??? How is that possible in 2014? It'd be like buying a car with no gas tank.
Asked by Doug.
- A:Answer Large companies often do special versions for single retailers -- it lets them offer a big discount without angering other retailers. They don't make it a worse product (since their name is on it, so their reputation is at stake). As for the lack of Internet, I see that more and more as people prefer to buy that part separately, via Roku, Chromecast, etc. Easier to fix if you have a problem.

Q: QuestionWhere's this Tv made?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The literature with this TV says it's made for Best Buy in China. The scuttlebutt in other forums say it's actually made by Insignia (licensed by Sharp) at their Chinese Facility.

Q: QuestionHow do I clean the screen?
Asked by edp.
- A:Answer Thank you for your inquiry. We do not recommend using anything other than a microfiber cloth. It may be lightly moistened with plain water if needed.

Q: QuestionChannel searchI have over are ATSC and NTSC channels and NTSC cable channels when the TV has scanned them can I see them by entering in the channel number and or using channel up or down? I have a old set that lets me do that. If I enter in channel 21 it goes to cable 21 NTSC channel and if I enter 34 it goes to over air channel 34 a ATSC channel.
Asked by John.
- A:Answer While fiddling around with my TV setup, I encountered same situation. I believe you are using "TV" input, which is optional. If you can, use HDMI input or even component input.
