Great Sharp TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this during the great deal on Black Friday for three hundred. Very happy with that. The Roku was new to me but set up was pretty easy and there are lots of apps available ( I loaded about 75 of them) I like that you can get local news apps from different stations from around the country and favorite pro and college team apps. But then I was not too happy with the standard settings, (too bright, too dark, overbloomed, no detail in dark areas.) But after calibrating with a Blu-ray of Digital Video Essentials HD Basics, I was very impressed with the sharpness, clarity and colors of this TV.

Great picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must say for the price this tv is a must! It has a great picture from all angles and it’s a smart tv so you can watch Hulu Netflix and it has built in Roku. I decided on the 50 inch and it looks really great in my living room. I am not at all disappointed and I ordered this online and Best Buy had it ready and brought it out to my truck.

Good TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easily set up.Connections are accessible and clearly marked. Built in Roku works seamlessly. Fortunately the unit is lighter than I thought it would be. Although I hooked it up to a surround sound I already had I was surprised at the built in sound quality. Far better than I would have expected. Very little 4k media is available right now where I'm at but I'm ready for it when it's available. With the 2160p the TV does make the very best of what is available however. Crisp clear picture with great resolution. So far I'm very happy with this.

Q: QuestionIf the Roku is built in, do you have to have a Direct TV Now subscription to view the live channels?
Asked by Shelby.
- A:Answer You don't need Directv, but you will need some kind of cable or satellite to view non-Roku channels. For whatever is worth, I bought this Sharp Roku TV on 8/22/17 and had to return it yesterday because the picture went black and I could only get audio. Best Buy accepted the return even though the 15 days had expired. I bought a 49" LG instead. It's a bit more expensive, but picture is much better and I don't need two remotes just to change volume or turn TV on and off, as I did with the Sharp.

Q: QuestionOur tv stand is 36" in width. Will this tv fit on that stand?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No Go. Outside width of front legs is 36-3/4 inches, which would overhang a 36 inch stand and be totally unstable. A 38 or 39 inch extension board screwed to top of stand might be a good work around.
