A: No the light does not come on when opening the door
A: The right answer is YES, the light turns ON when door is open. And it also turns ON when unit is working. This seems to be, probably, a most frequently asked question with countertop microwaves. Unfortunately, the Sharp representative gave incorrect answer twice. Good job with demoting your products! I wouldn't buy this microwave, if Best Buy employee would not go an extra mile, pulling display model to closest power outlet, just to prove that the light comes ON indeed.
Q: Are you able to cook by inputting time and power level? If so, what is the process?
A: Push "Time Cook" then input amount of time you want. Push "Power Level" then input 5 for half power, or whatever.
Q: Can you view the food through the door while it is cooking? Or is the view limited?
A: Yes, you can see through the door (no limitations).
A: It is quite clean, smooth, and quiet when closing. Definitely not loud or clanky
A: It beeps twice, and that's it, which is fine for what I need. I'm not a fan of persistent beepers
Q: Display reads PF .What are the causes and what can be done to fix it ?
A: The push button to open the door is to tight and causes the Microwave to move when opening the door! I suggest going back to the handle to open and close the microwave.
Q: how do i set wattage to highest level
