I purchased the Sharp to replace the exact same sized 20 year old Dacor branded microwave/convection oven two months ago. The door on the oven has already shifted and binds on the edges. Additionally, the unit has a horrible off-gassing smell that induces headaches. Hopefully, this unit can be repaired or replaced under warranty.

I have installed our replacement Microwave after researching to find one that closely matched the one we have used and enjoyed for 20 years. This looks identical in many ways. However the door does not shut well and has an area near the hinge that looks like it has been damaged or just poorly manufactured. The light is commonly left on after an attempt to shut the door has NOT resulted in success. The door release button feels flimsy and poorly manufactured. It works, but does not feel like the equipment it has replaced.
