Balanced armatures are commonly found in hearing augmentation devices (such as hearing aids) and are required for more outputting more detail in sound / audio. They will have a bit more clarity of detail because of the two BA drivers. The SE215 have a single dynamic driver which provides an overall balanced sound great for everyday activity and uses.
