Description
Features
Civilization VI offers new ways to engage with your world:
Cities now physically expand across the map.
Active research in technology and culture unlocks new potential.
And competing leaders will pursue their own agendas based on their historical traits as you race for one of five ways to achieve victory in the game.
EXPANSIVE EMPIRES: See the marvels of your empire spread across the map like never before. Each city spans multiple tiles so you can custom build your cities to take full advantage of the local terrain.
ACTIVE RESEARCH: Unlock boosts that speed your civilization's progress through history. To advance more quickly, use your units to actively explore, develop your environment, and discover new cultures.
DYNAMIC DIPLOMACY: Interactions with other civilizations change over the course of the game, from primitive first interactions where conflict is a fact of life, to late game alliances and negotiations.
COMBINED ARMS: Expanding on the "one unit per tile" design, support units can now be embedded with other units, like anti-tank support with infantry, or a warrior with settlers. Similar units can also be combined to form powerful "Corps" units.
ENHANCED MULTIPLAYER: In addition to traditional multiplayer modes, cooperate and compete with your friends in a wide variety of situations all designed to be easily completed in a single session.

Always a fun series
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a Sid Meier game, which means fun and a great time sink. I love this version, though i have been a little disappointed that over the years they have made it more difficult to use cheat codes and such, for those of us that want to have a quick domination of the game

Not an easy game for beginners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The graphics are great and if you can get the game on sale, it may be worth it. My big problem with it is the AI is downright broken. No matter what you do you end up in war. The AI declares war on you for the most idiotic reasons (for example, not accepting a ridiculous trade offer). This forces you towards a military focused game-play style. Then, you get egregious warmonger penalties even if you are just defending yourself in a war started by others. A game with a lot of potential ruined by the AI and no fix despite all the complaints they are receiving.

Some improvement, some back pedling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From previous versions, they've improved the graphics and simplified some of the actions. I'm not crazy about your workers only lasting 3 actions and some of the political system changes. It is impossible not to go to war, hense impossible to not build a large army. If you want to win by other means, it tends to make that a bit difficult. Still pretty and fun as CIV games tend to be.

Great game lots of potential
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have put hundreds of hours into civ 5 and civ 6 is looking promising with its new features like districts. My only complaint is that the AI is just really bad and won't capitalize on capturing cities and will instead just march around it until their units eventually get picked off. It might be updated and some point but until then it is still a solid game.

New features, not much change
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some of the new features are great, but for the wait since the last game, they haven't changed much.
