I love the look it provides and when on has a nice low light feel to it. I have it by my monitor and it helps make everything seem without glaring white light. Closer to low light. Only complaint is the metal string for turning on and off has a long travel before switch is engaged and it is very loud switch but hopefully it is a solid long lasting switch because it sounds solid.

THESE LAMPS AIN'T NO JOKE. YES! THESE LAMPS ARE SMALL. BUT NOT TO SMALL FOR A DESK LAMP. AND THESE LAMPS ARE GOOD, FOR PLACES IN YOU'RE APARTMENT, THAT A LARGE LAMP IS NOT CAPABLE OF RESIDING AT IN YOU'RE HOME. AND THE LIGHT THAT THESE LAMPS PRODUCE IS PHENOMENAL . I'M GLAD I PURCHASED THIS LAMPS. PEACE!!!
