Great Hotspot & Easy set up

I never had a mobile hot spot and now working from home and on the road this no contract mobile hot spot is a blessing! I had no issues setting this up! Follow the instructions step by step. Make sure you have a computer in front of you. Simple as 1-2-3 and it’s up and running. Service is great is city or suburb areas but as soon as your in a mountainous or farmland area you do begin to experience low service or no service at all BUT as will your cell phone so it’s really not the products fault. I highly recommend this option before you spend an arm and a leg to upgrade your phone plan and get locked in for 2 years at a ridiculous price!

||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Love this hotspot so far. Gets great coverage, was very easy to set up and it's even easier to use. The only drag is that I can't buy the data plans with Best Buy gift cards but that goes for all prepaid plans at Best Buy and other big box Electronics Stores. So it's not an issue with this Moxxee Hotspot by Simple Mobile. I take this thing camping with me or use it when I'm streaming Netflix or Hulu but still want to use my main phone and bust out my back up phone and this little guy and viola, everything's good. Oh yeah, and it comes preloaded with a sim card. Yum.

||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Simple to use but one problem was that it does not hold a charge for very long if not connected to a power supply. It did provide WiFi hotspot while driving from NY to the Carolinas. Had issue with gps and Moxee at times working together.

Was in a hotel with internet completely out for 2 weeks and this thing came in very handy for gaming with my x box and streaming. Just follow the instructions and read carefully or you will end up on the phone with customer service. You can’t set up your VPN over an iPhone so you have to use a windows device. I set mine up easily through internet explorer on the x box console since i had no laptop available.

||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.this device and the SimpleMobile service are TERRIBLE. I oringally purchased the device in San Diego, and it worked fine, then later in northern california - had terrible reception - understandable, then in Oregon - it goes into ROAMING mode and throttles the bandwidth to unusable levels (facebook won't load, and no streaming services work). There customer support is terrible, and when they can't solve your problem - they simply disconnect from the phone call - so you need to start over again

||Posted .Works great in the city, but in rural areas where I live, I only had one bar, but that was enough to run my roku, but the only problem is when you run out your out, and there is no buying extra time, They took my money for extra 10 gigs, and then I found out you can't buy additional time for hot spots, 40 gigs just isn't enough and they offer no more. At least kricket offers 100 gigs, I just get no signal at home. Only good for email and a few pitchers. Lol.

- A:Answer I purchased the $50 plan to get 40gb but they do have a $75 plan that is considerably higher. And the previous answer is false. You can purchase a card online and you will receive an email with the card pin. That is how I received mine

- A:Answer I purchased this device to use in our camper to watch movies and such Netflix as well as to use our phones. We have used it 2 weekends now I turn it off when we’re not using it. I think we only used like less then 10 gbs total so far. We purchased the 40 gbs plan It is very easy to setup all online.

- A:Answer Not sure how many people but we had 6 different items on it. Three laptops, two desktops, and a cell phone at the same time. It did not drag at all.Moxee is an ideal hotspot but don't use Tmobile's phone cards. One serious issue that is causing us to change to a different phone card is their abysmal customer service. Using T-mobile's phone card is not worth it. The customer service we have received is less than one star. They do not know how to change passwords on the Moxee site and cannot help with the WPS timeout. We wasted over four hours trying to find an answer and never found one. We were even lied to about having the receipt emailed to us (can't be done even though we gave our email address 7 times!!!) So keep that in mind if you need to use TMobile phone cards for the mobile hotspot. You may want to consider using some other phone card than Tmobile due to crappy customer service. We are going to run out this phone card and then switch to a different carrier to avoid using Tmobile's less than desirable customer service. If there was someplace to complain about their customer service, we would.
