In general, this gimble works well with my GoPro 5 Black. It is solidly built, movements are smooth, reasonably priced, came with a nice case, and email support was prompt. However, there are several areas for improvement. 1) The original gimble came with 4 X 900 mAh batteries and a charger, the new ones only have 1 X 2000 mAh battery with no external charger, a bad way in cutting cost given that it will not last all day. 2) Website is outdated, the "new" battery is not even available for sale at the website (where can I buy it?) and there is no info about the battery change. 3) The design to secure the GoPro needs to be changed. Ideally, it should be a quick release since users cannot access any cover on the GoPro while it is mounted. It becomes a hassle when users need to change the SD card, battery, connect the USB cable, or to charge the GoPro. 4) Since GoPro 5 came waterproof, it makes sense to design the gimble at least rainproof. Overall, this gimble does what it meant to do; with some improvements, it can greatly improve customer experience.

I was excited to finally get an affordable gimbal for my GoPro hero 5. Online it said two batteries though, on the box it didn't. It really needs two batteries in my opinion. For me using the directional control feature the battery seemed to last just 30 minutes. It was quite disappointing to be sightseeing in Paris and have it die on me after so short of a time. It is useless after the battery dies. It would be nice if you could at least lock it into place if there is no power. When it has power I think it works well stabilizing the image. Putting the GoPro hero 5 in it and taking it out is a Little akard I didn't feel comfortable doing it while on the go.

We were looking for a 3 axis gimbal for our GoPro Hero 4 Silver and had looked at several competitors before stumbling on this model. It’s a Best Buy Only model and we are very glad we found it! It’s terrific, easy to use, correctly calibrated right out of the box and on top of all that, very nicely priced! Very happy with our purchase. If something happened to the one we have now, we’d buy another one right away.
