Customers commend the sharp and smooth gameplay mechanics and engaging storyline of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. Many appreciate the cross-buy feature, allowing play on multiple platforms, and find the game easy to use, even for children. While some found the difficulty to increase at times, the challenges were generally considered manageable.
Sly Cooper Thieves in Time is a neat adventure as Sly and the Gang (plus more!) wander throughout history working with and rescuing Cooper Clan members from throughout the ages. Each of the levels is big enough that if you love to wander around and collect things and watch and listen and discover (that's me!), you'll have many tens of hours of delight. If you like lots of challenges and mini-games, most are moderately-easy to moderately difficult. None of the challenges or bosses are impossible or require you to do them 800 times just to get to the next level. In many cases, you get to the "last third" of the boss battle and your boss damage percentage stays constant and you get new health to try again over and over (until you turn the console off. I experienced a couple of bugs: In one challenge in the old west, Carmelita could never hit any of the bad guys while she was on the boat with the Wild West Cooper. A couple of retries and resaves and reboots of the console cleared it out. Another was the last bottle in the old castle level - it made so little sound it took forever to find it, even with the music turned off. All in all, it was well worth the money and I'm going to play it again. Peace

Sly Cooper Thieves in Time is a worthy success to the Sly Cooper series of games. It picks up with the story that was teased at the end of Sly 3 with Bentley creating a time machine. The game takes you through different time periods where you get to meet, and play as, Sly's various relatives. These relatives bring new gameplay mechanics to the game, also in each world is a themed costume for Sly that gives him new abilities while he's wearing them, like the ability to slow down time, or to shoot arrows with ropes attached. Over all, the game offers enough new things while still retaining the classic Sly feel. Bosses was never Sly Cooper's strongest point, and unfortunately this doesn't change here. While the designs of the bosses are all exceedingly well done as per usual, the actual boss fights are somewhat lacking. Without spoiling anything, the final boss battle can more or less be summed up with three words. Quick time event.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is the new entry in the Sly Cooper series. It has the same platforming formula that we have come to expect with some new modern touches to keep it relevant in today's gaming environment. The game has about 10-15 hours of gameplay and is very well paced so you will be through it before you know it. An additional feature is that the game comes with cross-buy and that gives you access to the same game of the same name on the PS Vita. The combination of playing this game at home and on the go will make it go by that much faster, but it is a unique feature that I am glad they included.
