Smoke on This... [CD]

This is some awesome music and Rex's vocals fit the style of music perfectly, dare I say I think I enjoy more as whole than most of what pantera did but it is a completely different style of music

Ok so this is not what I expected but still considered good music. As a big Pantera fan back in the day, this is nowhere close to the sound of Pantera. However it is good to hear new music and good to see Rex is still in the business. Very melodic and moody/gloomy rock. Different but good.

Wasn't expecting much from this, but bought as a Pantera fan. Has some really grooving tunes. None of this will make the radio, but if you're looking a nice chunky hard rock album, this is a pretty good listen. If you're expecting Pantera-like metal, this isn't the direction that he went in.

Different from anything you have ever heard coming from Rex's background. Very personal journey lyrically and very rockin musically. Definitely a great purchase

I really expected something very heavy from a member of Pantera,but what he really delivered was a very good grooving rock album,well done

Awesome solo effort by Rex. Has a bit of a Tom Petty feel to it. Definitely great rock and roll

Smoke on This is an amazing solo album from the bassist of Panetta. Rex Brown writing cool music with a southern vibe to it.
