    Synopsis

    Snakes on a Plane
Forget terrorists or hijackers -- there's a handful of deadly assassins aboard a jet liner and they don't even have arms or legs in this airborne thriller. Neville Flynn (Samuel L. Jackson) is an FBI agent handling what seems like a routine assignment -- serving as bodyguard for Sean Jones (Nathan Phillips), a Hawaiian surfer dude who is flying to California to testify in a high-profile criminal trial after witnessing mobster Eddie Kim (Byron Lawson) murdering one of his underlings. However, Flynn's job gets a lot more challenging when he discovers Kim's associates don't want Jones to talk, and have devised a unique way to ensure his silence. A cache of highly dangerous poisonous snakes has been hidden on board the jet, and is released using a timed mechanism once the flight is well underway. The snakes quickly attack several members of the flight crew and are eagerly eying the passengers when Flynn decides its time to get medieval on the reptiles. Also starring Rachel Blanchard, Benjamin McKenzie, and Mark Houghton, Snakes on a Plane was produced under the title of Pacific Air Flight 121, but in several interviews Samuel L. Jackson expressed his enthusiasm for the script's original title, Snakes on a Plane, and the high-concept moniker quickly made the film's title and theme a favorite with bloggers and on Internet fan sites all over the world. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

      A Fun Movie

This movie falls into the category of being so bad that it's actually quite fun to watch. My friends and I were actually cheering out loud at some of the hilariously contrived rah-rah action lines that Samuel L. Jackson had, but don't get me wrong, he kicks a**. This movie is very original (in concept if not in execution) and the action is great. I recommend this movie to people who want something fun and campy to watch in a group, just know, Oscar winner it ain't.

I hate snakes! I got this so I could try to get over my fear of snakes. "Try" being the operative word. Didn't help. But knowing the most frightening aspects of the snakes weren't real (being CGI, I assumed), made the movie watchable. And it was much better than I expected, not great, just average, and a pleasant night's entertainment.

      Straight Up Action

Samuel L Jackson made the director shoot more scenes to make this movie an R-rated , unlike most of the other studios that would let a movie have PG-13 rating just to get some of their money back with kids watching. This movie is eye candy, no real plot, but just straight up action and some comedy. Don't take this movie so serously, its not believable so let it go and enjoy

I liked this movie because it was a great suspense/horror movie. This gagster puts snakes in a plane to kill a witness to a murder. I love snakes so this movie was such a treat for me. People get bitteb by poisonous snakes. There is also this huge anaconda like snake too. Its pretty awesome. You will never feel the same about snakes again.

I love this movie! It's exactly what it says it is...............snakes, on a plane. It's fun, campy, and even a little suspenseful at times. Loved it!! Added bonus: My husband is terrified of snakes, and this got some girl-like screams out of him!!

First do not buy before you rent. This movie is not worth buying. It's about a assassin who releases a bunch of snakes because the witness is on the plane and is going to testify against him in court. Not really a plot to be a replay in your DVD player.

Just like "Hair", I saw this movie a few years ago and really enjoyed it. However, I wanted it on dvd and got a blue ray instead. I sent it back unopened and hope to either receive a refund or a dvd copy of the movie. Thank you.
