We have had a SodaStream for a couple of years and bought this one as a Christmas gift. The recipients are just as thrilled with theirs as we are with ours. Love being able to have whatever flavor of soda we want, and being able to adjust the carbonation level to what we enjoy! Like the flavor of the soda but it's just a bit too strong? Customize the flavor by using less syrup. I can't say enough good things about this product.

This is definitely the way to go if you like soda but don't want to keep buying cans of it. So far the flavors we have tried are equal to the canned stuff but without all the sugar. Each glass (8oz) only has 35 calories! We probably won't buy any more canned soda. This machine is so easy to use. Since it does not need to be plugged into electricity to use it you could take it with you if you traveled or even went to a party. I don't know why we waited so long to get one.

If you like alot of fizz, this is perfect. I'm a big club soda fan and this meets my needs. The fizz are small so they burn going down but it makes you burp pretty quick. It's a different fizz compared to the name brand club soda. The syrup I probably would not recommend. I bought the cola and the lemon lime. It tasted like cough syrup,artificial, diet-ish. Only issue if you follow the instructions during carbinating it sprays water. Shorter burst seems work the best and watching the water as it starts to bubble up to the top tells you when to let go, give it a sec for it to come down and push again.
