SodaStream - Source Sparkling Water Maker - White

Great product, easy to use. i have not brought a bottle of sparkling since i brought my soda stream. don't need the flavor sryup that comes with it as a sample they taste horrible. add some fruits or juice to flavor. only problem is finding a place to refill CO2 canister.

We've owned ours for about two months so far, and we love it. We wanted to stop buying bottled unflavored sparkling mineral water, and I did the math and determined it was going to be cost-effective to get the machine and make our own soda water. The machine is dead simple to use, and the ability to select the level of carbonation is a thoughtful idea. I was a bit surprised it doesn't even need any electrical power for the carbonation to work. However, there is a 3 element LED that shows you the level of carbonation you're getting, and that's powered by a "non-user replaceable" battery. This is probably the only con about this machine. According to the user's manual, you have to return the machine back to the company to replace the battery. But the good news is that there are videos available on YouTube that show you how to replace the battery by DIY means. It's a bit of a hassle, but you should be able to do it if you know how to use a screwdriver. Also, if you're going to get one of these machines, make sure to budget for about an additional $20 to get a two pack set of one liter bottles. One liter is not a whole lot of liquid (it's about the size of a 32oz. Big Gulp), and two people can easily go through one bottle per sitting. Three bottles (one comes with this machine) is probably a minimum, and probably four is ideal for a household with two adults who like to drink soda water to hydrate.

There are fancier models, but this does everything you need it to, and it's way better than the cheap, cheap models. The LED really helps and requires no batteries, which is perfect. Even my 7 year old knows how to use it, and we use it almost every day. What's even better is that it comes with the full size carbonator, so it's a great value.

If you like alot of fizz, this is perfect. I'm a big club soda fan and this meets my needs. The fizz are small so they burn going down but it makes you burp pretty quick. It's a different fizz compared to the name brand club soda. The syrup I probably would not recommend. I bought the cola and the lemon lime. It tasted like cough syrup,artificial, diet-ish. Only issue if you follow the instructions during carbinating it sprays water. Shorter burst seems work the best and watching the water as it starts to bubble up to the top tells you when to let go, give it a sec for it to come down and push again.

I was skeptical about this product at first, but now I'm so glad I purchased it it. My wife and I used to buy 10+ bottles of seltzer water at the store, but now we can skip the water aisle entirely! That's great for the environment and our wallets! If you drink seltzer water a lot (like we did), you'll easily recoup the cost of the unit in about a month-or-so; also, the cost of changing the CO2 bottle (and getting new water flavors) after about 80 bottles is very affordable (as opposed to getting 10+ seltzer bottles from the grocery store each week). Definitely recommend this item.

I'm not a soda drinker but do like carbonation so sodastream is perfect. I have the Source and like the LED indicating the level of carbonation. No more buying bottles of sparkling water or worrying about running out. As an alternative to the flavors I like to get creative and do my own. Mix the carbonated water with 1/3 or 1/2 juice to keep the sugar and calories down. Also blend up fresh fruit and add your sodastream water.

This Soda Stream Sparkling water maker is very handy for those of us that drink a lot of sparkling water. Convenient and easy to use. Real money savor.

I've been eyeing the SodaStream for almost 2 years and decided to go ahead and treat myself. Best. Decision. Ever. I love the sparkling water in the cans, but I was spending way too much money. This solved that problem. This model looks extremely elegant and is easy to use. I've had it for about a month and I can operate it with my eyes closed. I highly recommend purchasing this product if you're just thinking about. You won't regret it.
