Ordinarily, this would be a mediocre psychological thriller with a bit of paranormal content thrown in, the primary detriment being a cast with absolutely no sympathetic characters. Each of them is corrupt and devious, with even our presumed protagonists seeming "not right" most of the time. Just when following the unfortunate lives of our characters became tedious and I found myself ready to reach for the remote, I realized the above was entirely by design. The truth is revealed, events are explained, and "loose ends" are tied up masterfully! This is one of the better movie endings I have encountered recently, and since the synopsis on the box gives nothing away I was able to say "never saw that coming...or that!" Stick with it, put up with these people for awhile, and be treated to one supremely diabolical finish. I would give this a three as a run of the mill "whodunnit" with occasionally contrived performances, but I think it rates a four for the killer ending.

It had plenty of twists to keep me guessing, and it held my interest throughout. Great movie!
