This album is their first in a while, so I would recommend purchasing some of their old stuff first (I also have the "August and Everything After" compilation). This CD displays the progression of the Counting Crows from their major 90's pop hits, into more of what it feels like they 'want to play' rather than developing hits for the radio...If you liked 'A Long December' and some of their other "lesser known" songs, then you'll like this...Song 1, 'Palisades Park', is one of favorites, and 'Scarecrow' kind of reminds me of 'For an Eggman (Albert's Theme)'...It seems like they had more fun with this album. Shame it's only 9 Songs and 2 Demo's!!

I have all Crows albums and have seen them three times including this summer. This album is not their worst or best. It's more up-beat, catchier, and better than their 2009 album but not as good as Hard Candy. And they'll probably never approach the greatness of their first album. But this one is growing on me a bit.

I really like this new Counting Crows album. Though it doesn't quite reach the level of "August & Everything After" or "Hard Candy," it has some good tracks. 2-5 & 9 really stand out. I also like the 2 bonus tracks, which are demos of songs on the album, "Earthquake Driver" & "Scarecrow."

I've been following Adam and the guys since their inception...great to hear them back to what put them on the map...Even though I've enjoyed every one of their releases, this is definitely on much more of a note of their earlier work...definitely worth the wait..

I believe the summary says it all. Counting Crows have a unique sound and style. If you like them, this album will not disappoint. If you do not know this band, August and Everything After or This Dessert Life are better places to start a Counting Crows journey.

I am a huge fan of the band and have been following them from the beginning. I've been needing a fix on some new songs and they did not disappoint. They have that old familiar sound, but some new tunes. Happy to know they have not faded off into oblivian.

I always thought the Counting Crows would disappear in the 90's, but to my surprise they continue to make great music. I recommend picking up Somewhere Under Wonderland. Thanks for the Facebook $2 off coupon Counting Crows.

This album is exactly what I would expect fr The Counting Crows; upbeat, smooth, melodic, harmonies, summer Jams, and the type of album you could put on and listen to the whole album th entire way through
