We had to do a complete cleaning and refresh of the body. I would have wished a little more detail on the speaker’s condition. I most probably would have bought the new one as u have also dropped the price on them.

It sounds like you purchased a pair of open box speakers. In my experience, Best Buy would be more than willing to return the speakers if you are unhappy with your purchase. Paired them with a Sonos amp to bring my Sonos setup outside. They look so sleek too with minimal branding on the speakers themselves. The weatherproof rating should also withstand the considerable amount of rain we get here in Oregon so overall these were a great choice.
