Perfect housewarming gift
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Bought a pair of Sonos One speakers for my niece and her fiancé. They just bought a new house and were listening to music and podcasts through a tiny Jawbone speaker in their kitchen. Their kitchen had two perfectly placed outlets and now they listen to music and podcasts in stereo. They absolutely love them and I am her favorite uncle. Okay, I'm her only uncle, but she loves me even more now.

Seamless listening
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I absolutely love this Sonos. It is in my bedroom, and if I am listening to music in my family room and go to the bedroom, I am able to seamlessly transfer music to the bedroom, or listen to it as well as my Sonos in the family room, using the Sonos app. And the sound is great too! It is basically always connected to my phone so I don’t have to do anything except for go to my phone and start playing music from Spotify, iHeartRadio or whatever I want to play it through. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

Used as stereo pair with subwoofer
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I tried a more expensive speaker first. It was ok, but my friend suggested using two Sonos one speakers w the Sonos sub. I have used Ones as a single speaker to have an easy way to get tunes in a room. But add the sub and these turn into a high end setup. They do something with snare drums and guitar that gets buried in the mix on other speakers. Very happy.

Great speaker understands plain sentences
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Have used Sonos speakers and Sonos Connects to A/V amplifiers for several years. Recently purchased the Sonos One to control various connected smarthome items, especially bathroom lighting, overhead bathroom heater, and house thermostat. Speech recognition is excellent, using normal speaking volume. Connected to Google Home and synced with WINK Hub so that we can control switches and/or plugs that do not directly connect to Google Home/Assistant. (Note: in the pic that is a recessed light above the Sonos, not the Sonos indicator light)

After a lot of research we went with Sonos- the setup is phenomenally easy- sound quality is spectacular- We loved it so much we bought extra speakers for our office and main living room TV. The app control makes it simple to use - if your on the fence- stop thinking about it, these speakers are the ones for you

World of difference!!
||Posted .I added the One’s to my Sonos arc and Sub, I must say it makes a world of difference when it comes to atmos and surround sound. The arc is impressive by itself but nothing really replaces have speakers across the sound spectrum. I just returned the ambeo soundbar two days ago before switching to sonos!

- A:Answer This device does require to be plugged into a power outlet as it does not have any type of onboard battery. The cord is pretty lengthy, about 10' which is pretty nice.

- A:Answer Yes, it can. Voice control is available on all Sonos speakers however some do not have microphones so you would need to use and Echo Dot or similar device to control them.

- A:Answer Hi, I used a pair of Sonos 1's in a covered outdoor kitchen year-round; estimate they were out there for about 4+ years, never had a problem with moisture. One was about 5' above our grill / smoker, so also exposed to those elements. Pretty robust speaker. I would expect these never were exposed to direct moisture, I.e. rain or snow, but the humidity of St. Louis, no problems.

- A:Answer Hi, and thank you for your question! It depends what you mean by "regular" Sonos speakers. You can stereo pair like-for-like speakers. The only exception is One and One SL. One and One SL can be stereo paired together. Other than that, you would have to have x2 of the exact same Sonos speaker. Out of the two speakers neither are better than the other. Acoustically, they're exactly the same. The only difference is that the Sonos One has voice mics built in for Alexa, and Google Assistant, where the One SL does not.
