So i recently purchased the LG 55EF9500 Oled 4K tv which is the best Tv money can buy right now and i needed a good soundbar. I first purchased the LG LAS751M soundbar but it only had one hdmi input which did not meet my needs so i returned it and purchased this sony. First of all the Sound is amazing. It has 3 hdmi inputs so i can connect my comcast receiver, xbox one, and still have an extra free HDMI port. i love the fact that this soundbar has 3D, 4K, and 4K HDR passthrough which makes it future proof for the new 4k blu ray players to be released early next year. It decodes Dolby True HD and DTS-HD sound formats found on blu ray discs which the LG could not do and you can hear the difference. Bluetooth connected within seconds to my Iphone and music streaming sounds amazing as this soundbar does upscale your music to hi resolution audio. Sound overall is very balanced and it has plenty of low end power when needed. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a soundbar that has alot of high end features and amazing sound. I have the Sony NT3, LG 55EF9500, XBOX One and Logitech Harmony 650 remote controlling everything and the HDMI switching is quick and painless.

I purchased this, along with my 55" 3D Bravia TV, during the black Friday/cyber Monday sale, because there was a big discount when purchasing it alongside the TV. While I don't know if it is worth the original asking price of $799, I couldn't pass it up at the promotion price. Though it states it can playback up to 7.1 surround, which I don't exactly understand because it is a 2.1 system and does not allow for additional speaker connections, it can only playback 5.1 through the ARC(TV audio/control) connection. So I am using the 3 HDMI inputs/pass-throughs on the soundbar for my devices that are capable of outputting better than 5.1 audio to ensure that I get the best audio possible. There are a ton of features on this soundbar with the HDMI, 3.5mm audio, USB playback, NFC, and bluetooth. The only thing I feel it is really missing is the ability to rename the inputs to the device that is plugged in to them. Another weird thing is that Sony opted for moving the volume buttons to the right side of the remote to add subwoofer controls on the left side, which is unusual because my TV remote that is of a similar style and layout, has the volume controls on the left. But what it all comes down to.... is the sound. All I can say is wow. I was shocked when I heard this in the store. Shocked enough to take down the old surround sound I already own and sell at 1/6th the price I purchased this for so I could have clearer, crisper audio with awesome bass to rattle the neighbor's apartment. If your Best Buy has this in stock, you should definitely test it out so you can bask in it's awesomeness.

Good sound and very easy to set up and use with a sony 4k tv. I was able to get this 1/2 price ($400) when I purchased a sony 4k tv . I don't think I would have purchased this at the $800 retail price. Makes for a very easy, clean install. The next model up is significantly better but also a huge step in price. Its sound is comparable with other soundbars in its price range but its nice when used with a sony product as 1 remote will work all equipment without programming any remotes.
