Great Memory Card
Posted .Not sure why they don't sell the 64 GB Memory. I mean the Vita is not Region Locked and can be purchased for the same price as the 32 GB on other sites.

Expensive but essential
||Posted .There isn't much I can say that hasn't already been said about Sony's pricing structure for the PS Vita memory cards. They are very expensive for the amount of memory you are getting, especially relative to other memory card options (such as SD). Sadly, the Vita can only use these memory cards specifically. Going forward, the card itself works great. It is plenty of memory for me, since I primarily get my games in physical format. I have 10 PSP games, 4 Vita games, and 17 PSOne classics all downloaded onto this card, and it is only about 2/3 filled. I do also have a 4 GB and 8 GB card, but I purchased this one so I wouldn't have to swap out the cards so much. It's difficult to shell out this much money for something that can be had so cheap in other formats, but it is an item that is essential to enjoying the Vita if you plan on downloading many games.

Best price sweet spot
||Posted .Vita needs memory cards. You can get by with the internal GB on the new slim if all you do is play retail carts, browse the web and remote play. That would work. But you'd be missing much of what the Vita can do - it's audio through good headphones is good enough to use for music, or watching videos/movies, and the number of downloadable games is almost uncountable. You want a memory card. Size depends on your balance of retail/remote vs downloads/local storage. The 4 and 8 would work if you don't do much downloading. 16 if you do a little. 32 is probably the best for a split of many downloads plus some retail cart and remote. 64s are hard to come-by and have rumors of glitches. You will need to occasionally remove a game to put a new one on, but even if a game took 8GB, that still leaves you room for 4, unlikely that anyone plays 4 games at once. In fact, most seem to be around between .5~2GB. So you can have more stored than you'll be using at any one time with the 32.

Expensive, but practically required
||Posted .Since a memory card is pretty much required to play many games on your Vita, I strongly recommend investing in at least the 32gb card. This is especially true for PS+ members, those free games eventually add up! If you have the money for the 64gb, don't hesitate. It will come in handy. I've only been a Vita owner for a month and already there has been a steady stream of great sales on the PS Store. With all that said, still there is no denying that these cards are way overpriced (not BestBuy's fault, they are expensive at every store), but like I said, they are basically required and most prospective Vita owners should be aware of that.

Necessary but could be better
||Posted .If you're a Vita owner who's not afraid of going digital (especially with the console's new focus on indie titles), you need this card. It is the largest you'll get thus far and is able to hold lots of titles. It also becomes necessary if you're a member of PlayStation Plus as the free games will eat up all of the space you can find. The one issue everyone will have, though, is that the cards are still overpriced. The use of proprietary memory cards means they can make it up to whatever they want but when you can find the same storage size on SD cards for half the price or less, you can't help but feel cheated.

Needed Storage for PSV
||Posted .Too bad Vitas do not come standard with this memory card, the general standard seems to 8GB if you buy the bundle sets, which barely can hold 1-2 games, reason I say 1 is that Boardlands 2 is about 4GB and the DLC another 2 or 3, so that leaves barely anything on the card. So if buying a Vita I would strongly suggest purchasing this card to best utilize the spacing for games.

Plenty of Space
||Posted .This memory card gets the job done on the Vita. The 8gb card it comes with is barely enough for the Borderlands 2 download and maybe one other game. This way I can install all my Playstation Plus games and the downloads and still have plenty of space left over. The truly hardcore might have to step up to 64gb but 32gb should be plenty for almost all users.

32GB Solid State memory + PS Vita = Win
||Posted .Can't go wrong here, 32GB is beyond plenty to handle all my sons digital download games, several huge music playlist I made for him, movies, photos, & other media. He can do more with his Vita than his grandparents iPhones.. A memory card is required for games downloads, don't waste money on 16GB, 32 is the sweet spot for most.. it is going to take countless years to even have to think about storage space management. Obviously extremely fast & reliable as its a SSD flash memory card. A must have with the PS Vita.

Q: QuestionWhats the difference between this and a SD card?I am looking at this and i see that the price is too much for just 32GB. so i am asking what is the difference between this and a SD card. Is the Vita only compatible with official memory cards?
Asked by Manuel.
- A:Answer I know this is a rather late answer, but here it is: the Vita can ONLY use the proprietary PS Vita memory cards sold by Sony. SD is not compatible, and to my knowledge there aren't any third party alternatives (someone else may chime in to correct me if I'm wrong). It stinks, but with a little digging, perhaps you can bring the cost down some (price matching, clearance shopping, reward certs, etc).
