You can't go wrong..!
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe SONY dvd+r (50 pack) is probably the best value of blank media you can get. I'm used to buying on-sale only, so I've tried a lot of brands (Imation, Dynex, Sony, Memorex, Maxell..) and the Sony DVD+R is the ultimate for burning video. I have had AT MOST 2-3 error coasters from a 50 pack (unless I found that the pre-burn video itself was corrupt). For data storage (files, programs, mp3's, pics..) I have NEVER had a write error. When BestBuy has a sale on these I rush to the store. I can usually buy 3 50's for less than a 100 pack, so the value is immediate... add in the nearly zero write error fact and it's the only way to go! I use a Pioneer 16X DVD-RW with Nero 7 software (also bought from BestBuy), and transfer moratorium VHS (out-of-print) to blank DVD. No problems with Sony.

Great product great price
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendSony DVD blank discs overall are reliable for my needs. I did have one video I made that would not work on an older model DVD player. This maybe more of an issue with the DVD player than the disc.

Superior quality for the price
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThese Sony discs have provided the reliability, affordability, and price point needed for efficient and secure backups. They have been used to convert VHS-based home videos to DVD and have never experienced any problems with the burn quality. Be sure to stock up on these whenever they are on sale.

Best popular-price DVD blanks!
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThese are simply the best popular-price DVD blanks readily available at retail, excellent in terms of both compatibility and longevity. Almost never a coaster with my 8X NEC burner. Plays in more machines than any other disc I've tried. If you have a choice, favor DVD+R over DVD-R for better protection against errors.

Best DVD for copies
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI copy a lot of movies, home, etc., as well as photo albums, data, and computer programs, and I've found that over the years, you get what you pay for. I've bought almost every brand, well-known or not, to burn DVD's, and Sony is the only brand that I've never had a problem with playback, haven't ever received a bad one in the whole batch, and my friends have no problem reading what I've went them on DVD's. These DVD's are by far, that best for your money.

Sony DVDs Outstanding
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWe have burned literally thousands of DVDs for a small business. Sony discs are absolutely the most reliable we have used. No-name brands can be purchased for less but Sony discs have a zero-tolerance failure rate; i.e., they work every time! Simply the best.
Q: QuestionWhat is the differance betweeen R+ and R-?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The -R and +R were pioneered by different makers but are now both supported by most drives. You can check your burner for supported formats, also pay attention to "DL" which stands for Dual Layer and means it can hold more space and some older drives only support DL discs of one format or another. It's also worth pointing out that some older players only like one or another, so you can check the player you intend to use. But basically, they are identical for modern equipment.
