Worth for money

Have not faced any issues till it blacked out suddenly a day. Bought this Sony x80j Tv 55 inch TV on Black Friday deal for 549$. Original cost was 799$. Initially faced issue in setting up. Faced issue with WiFi connectivity. Took almost 2 hrs to figure out the resolution. Then had issue with streaming apps like Disney plus and Amazon prime video. After multiple try with uninstall and installing. It worked out. Recently Pluto TV added live TV for Sony Android TV's. It works great. Pros: Picture quality Sound quality Cons: Initially TV Setup Internet connectivity Initial Streaming apps setup Once the setup is done. All goes good. Definitely recommend for a friend

Great Sony TV

The color is so clear and at times it looks as though it is 3D. It makes you feel you are there! I'm a 68 year old woman and have little electronic knowledge, but it was made for anyone to connect the TV with devices. I connected my old Sony DVD and my new Sony Sound Bar/Subwoofer to this Smart TV. Sony made it very easy. For my TV viewing, I switched to Dish and they hooked up the TV portion to my HDMI 1. Anyone looking for a new TV give this one a look. It was very reasonable priced on Best Buy. Best Buy delivered to our house and placed where we wanted it. Great service Best Buy!

Can't go wrong with Sony. X80J.

I did quite a research and finally decided this model is best suited for my budget and my expectations. This is a great TV for a small apartment. The color is vibrant and the speaker is loud enough for my listening. Setup was a little tedious with Google Home app cuz I had to call Google customer service and they were great in assisting me. The Google assistant on the remote is Best! Got it at a very good deal and I truly recommend this 2021 Sony entry level smart tv.

Amazing Picture Quality

Best tv for the price

Not sure if other tvs have this but it’s awesome on this one and the colors are absolutely beautiful great for playing games on it too just use game mode so the response time is lower.it’s smooth as well when browsing Netflix other apps. Sometimes I wish it was a little brighter it’s not the brightest tv in direct sunlight

Out of box picture quality is amazing

The picture straight out of the box is incredible. very accurate colors. i don't see any need to have the picture calibrated like some TV's need. glad i chose this over some similar priced models from other brands. i think you would have a hard tike finding a better quality picture in this price range. definitely recommend. mounted on the wall with not issue at all.

Sony 55" tv from Best Buy off Wisconsin AVE APPLET

I love the color fine lines and i needed help with volume and the customer service from Best Buy was very helpful and the TV company assisted me to the issue and helped me do it correctly ..it was me not the tv... but everyone is wonderful, helpful, patient and thats why i am a repeat customer ...

This TV supports HDMI eARC/ARC and has a panel refresh rate of 60Hz. To get the most out of your PlayStation 5, we recommend TV that supports HDMI 2.1 4k120hz/VRR/ALLM such as X900H/X90H series, Z8H series ,X85J, X90J series and up for 2021 Sony TV models. Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and ALLM will be added via a future firmware update. - A:Answer Not in my case. They brought it into the house is all. Assembling it is up to you. Don't count on any help from a manual, just a fold out showing some hints on assembling it. No actual manual is included. Do really like the TV though.

Unfortunately, wide viewing angle is a feature not available on the X80J TV. However, this TV includes a light sensor that optimizes picture brightness to room conditions, boosting brightness in light rooms and reducing it in dark ones so you get the perfect view. The best viewing distance also depends on the size and the display resolution of the TV. The recommended distance for comfortable viewing depends on the video or program you are watching, the viewing environment, and the physical conditions of the person watching it. Q: QuestionI am a little confused about the apps available on this tv. Do any of them work without getting a subscription? How does all of this work? Also, I have a couple of flat screen tvs I need to dispose of. Can I still bring them for disposal?

- A:Answer Pretty much any major app you want - Hulu, Apple, Netflix, etc. - require a paid subscription to access. There are some free ones like Crackle that are ad supported, but I don't know if you need to sign up for them or not. There is an app store to download anything you need. You also have the option of purchasing a digital antenna for local channels. As far as disposal, just Google e-waste disposal in your area - a lot of places will take those off your hands for charity.
