We originally were looking at another brand TV, After we went to Best Buy and compared the quality of the picture and color of this Sony TV we just had to change our mind and go with the Sony Truer blacks and whiter whites, and and a sharper picture. We also decided to go with a 55 inch instead of a 47 in. So glad we did. We have it in our bedroom where we watch a lot of tv. We were thinking about adding a sound bar but actually the speakers are pretty good on this TV so I don’t think we will need them. The smart features are great and easy to use. We are happy we chose this one

The picture is beautiful but the tv seems to have a mind of its own. The mic on the remote comes on suddenly without touching it. Although it hasn’t done that lately. It is difficult to switch from things like YouTube back to regular tv. I’m chalking that up to my lack of technical skills...but... The sound is adequate but I love the Sony sound bar I purchased with it.

Great right out of the box no tweaking required. X1 ultimate chip is fast and responsive. Everything I was expecting. Huge upgrade from my old Plasma tv. Plus I am counting on the Sony reliability. I have never had a Sony product that wasn’t worth the money...
