    Great TV, Great Brand!

I am very happy with this purchase. Paid $1499 on Black Friday pricing. When I started looking at TVs, I was upgrading from a 3-year-old Samsung UHD LED. Middle of the road model. I was planning on spending close to a thousand. Then as I started looking I found out about the OLED. I really didn't plan on spending this much on a TV, but I am so happy that I did! The picture Is awesome. The PS5 looks great. It upscales my content which now looks amazing. Same internet connection I had on the other TV, same YouTube TV account, amazingly better picture. Sports looks great. Movies look amazing. I'm glad I took this step up. There are a ton of settings with the picture. If you're not happy with the picture out of the box, play with the settings and you can get it exactly where you want it to be. If you're like me, and you enjoy customizing picture settings for different movies or content, this TV is great for that. But also you can mostly set it and forget it once you get the picture where you want it to be. Also, the Sony brand has proven to be great in my life. My first Walkman was a Sony, my first disc man was a Sony. My best VCR and first surround sound system where Sony's. I've never had a Sony product that died, just the technology surpassed it. I have a 15-year-old Sony sound system now. Still works, still sounds good, but I'm going to have to upgrade it to get the new Dolby formats. I chose this TV over the Samsung and the LG because of the brand quality that I have experienced with Sony.

    Awesome TV

Purchased this TV on sale for $1,499.00 (500 off). Picture quality is awesome, blacks are “black”, whites are “white”, no blur with motion, similar to a plasma screen only better. Not sure how the sound quality out of the tv is as I am playing it through Sonos with subwoofer and surround speakers (totally awesome). Tv is slim just 2”. Tv wall mount hole are significantly lower than 65” Sony I bought in 2019, had to buy extension bracket for my Sanus wall mount to locate the tv at the right height, (not a big deal Amazon 20 bucks). Top notch Tv for a reasonable price.

Awesome OLED experience for a great price

I've been looking for a decently-price OLED for a while now, and this was exactly what I was hoping for. The picture quality of this panel is incredible, with perfect contract, vivid colors, and excellent image quality (especially when upscaling non-4K content). The sound from the TV was great as well, but I am running all of my audio through eArc to my HomePods. With OLED, the main caveats compared to other panels like LED are lower peak brightness and burn-in. I have this TV in a very bright living room and the picture is still plenty bright and vivid in the middle of the day. It definitely isn't a super bright display compared to QLED and other higher-end TVs with top of the line HDR brightness, but the picture is more than enough for my usage. I am not too worried about burn-in either since this is a modern panel and most media hardware has some means of protection against that now, but I am still cautious when leaving a static image on the screen for a longer period of time. The preset picture setting options are decent as well, but I went in and adjusted the settings manually to really bring out the best colors this thing can produce. Motion smooth is decent as well, but any higher setting creates latency which essentially makes that feature useless for gaming, but does improve high-action movies and shows just enough without giving the "Soap Opera effect" when on the lowest setting. This is my first at-home OLED TV experience, and my games and movies have never looked better. Nothing compares to pure blacks that OLED panels allow.
