Q: QuestionDoes the a7-iii accept lenses that currenly fit my Sony a6000?
Asked by Raysfla.
- A:Answer yes don't worry they work better in almost every way on the A7iii than on the a6000 . Faster autofocus, way way better photos in low light when using high ISO settings and/or slow shutter speeds, especially with the IBIS in-camera stabilizer (helps stabilize too nuch coffee shaky hand shots with ANY lens you put on). The A7iii will automatically go into 'APS-C' mode (unless you choose to disable that in settings) which is just a fancy way of saying the camera will digitally zoom to 1.5x so that a smaller portion of the sensor gets used (centered area, having same 24mm width x 16mm height as the a6000). Sometimes you might want to disable the APS-C mode to acheive different perspectives, especially with ultra wide lenses like the 10-18. In any case if you are adding a A7iii to your a6000 system I would bet you will be very happy with the results!

Q: QuestionAnybody heard anything on preorder schedule? Any delays? On schedule? I have a trip on the 17th so I’m hoping there are plenty of units shipping.
Asked by Delays.
- A:Answer My order status email from last week said I will get it by April 10. Now their product listing says May 4. I'm hoping that the preorders before this change will still get them by 4/10, I can't wait another month I have trips planned also!

Q: QuestionDoes this come with a memory card?
Asked by kmin.
- A:Answer No, you’ll need to buy memory cards (it has 2 slots available) separately. If you’re going to be shooting video primarily, be sure to get fast enough cards.

Q: QuestionWhat about using a flash setting ,it doesn't come with it?
Asked by Jess.
- A:Answer Hi, Jess! This Alpha camera does not have a built-in flash nor comes with a flash, but it has flash settings. To be able to use these settings, you can connect any of the external flashes from this page: http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/www/cscs/accessories/compatibility.php?area=gb&lang=en&mdl=ILCE-7M3&cat=9. -Vincent

Q: QuestionIf the camera shoots 4K video, can it play back to an "ordinary" HDTV? I'm guessing the connection is HDMI, like my BluRay player. Does the TV ignore the data beyond 2K? Does the camera handshake with the TV and send a non-4K signal?
Asked by Mongo1943.
- A:Answer The HDMI connection communicates to the camera what the TV is capable of and the camera will replay videos at that resolution.

Q: QuestionI just purchased this camera for personal use and I am very new to photography. I noticed that I can easily view the images that I’ve taken on the camera but as far as the videos, is there no way to play the video back on the camera itself?
Asked by VideoPlayBack.
- A:Answer Yes, you can. To the right of the screen you have the round button/wheel with the button in the middle(the one I’m pointing to in the picture). Go to the video you want to play back and push that center button.
