Great Sony Boombox for my nightstand!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I use this Sony CD Boombox with my noise canceling headphones in the evenings. (I have never tried it for local radio stations.). I love the mega bass option. The CDs are easy to load in the top. It works so well for my purposes that I bought a second one.

||Posted .It's ok for using in a dome. I used to have a super woofer surround sound system. This one sounds like a regular radio. I can't hear all the instruments sound. It may be good for apartment living as you don't want your neighbors complain noise. I am to check out an upgrade at Best buy.

- A:Answer Yes, that is one of the main features of this unit. I think that it mainly plays MP3 files, but it may work with other file types also.....check the Sony website for more info.

- A:Answer I recently purchased the Sony boombox from Best Buy. We listen to it out by our pool. We use radio, Pandora and CD's to play music. It it load enough for us to hear over all the human chatter, outdoor noises and the pool filter noise running. It is small but mighty!

- A:Answer Yes, it records at high speed, turns the music into MP3 format, and saves it on a flash drive. Then, you can upload them to your phone or iPod. You can either record song by song or the entire CD. I did entire CD because it is a lot faster. Then, I use my computer to select the songs I like and put them together. This is the reason why I bought this machine: to convert songs from my old CD into MP3 format at high speed, unsupervised.
