Q: What does the 4 button attachment even do? It looks like a waste of money.
A: Its adds the ability to map different buttons such as x, ■,● and triangle and the bumpers to 2 programmable buttons on back you can push with other fingers so you dont have to take your thumbs off the sticks. In fortnite and call of duty X is to jump so with this device you can jump and aim and shoot at the same time without removing your thumb over to hit X
Q: Will this attachment work with steam, while on a PS4 controller obviously?
A: It should work on steam because it is a ps4 product. Scuf controllers and even other third party products (strikepack fps) work on steam as well, so you shouldn’t have any problems with this product. Hope this helped!

Q: Will this work on the PS5 controller? Just curious
A: I don't think it will work due to the difference in the shape of the two controllers. The back button attachment is very form fitting with the PS4 controller. The ps5 controller would have to be exactly the same shape as the PS4 controller for it to fit and work correctly.
A: It connects through the controller and then the controller sends the signal so I believe it will.
A: No it does not fit any other shaped controller that the standard, origional PS4 controller. It is very form fitting to the back of the controller. A little dodgy from time to time it kicks off the back with the wrong orientation of pressure. Normal game play it doesn't fall off though. Very very helpful addition.
Q: Wondering if you can map dpad functions on this button attachment? Left, right, up, or down..
A: You can do that if you want, any button can be mapped to the back button
A: I went to Best Buy yesterday and I ask them for the PlayStation 4 back button attachment and he brought it out. He told me that I need to wait until 2/04 even though they had it in store.
