Sony - Over-the-Ear Headphones

These were on sale so I felt better about the price but they don't sound as good as the Bose but cost nearly as much when not on sale. They also are cantered forward a bit so they never fit quite straight on your head. Not a big deal but for the money I expected more. Not a bad buy on sale as they work well on planes but I'd probably save up for Bose.

Straight to the point. 1. Yes, there is a slight hissing noise when you have it pumped up too loud. But unless you need it that loud, it won't bug you. 2. I love that the headphones stil work if the battery is out. Not the greatest quality when N/C is turned off but if you're in a bind, you're cool. 3. The quality of the headphones (how it is made) is premium. Seems much nicer than the materials that the Bose are made out of. 3. The bass seems to come more out of the right side of than the left, but that may just be my set. 5. When you wear them for an extended period of time they tend to be a little too tight on the head. Because they are on-ear, they push my ears down and eventually it begins to hurt. So, this said I think I may take them back and get an around the ear version. That is all I got. This product has very nice sound and the base is awesome. It truly replicates the sound as if you are listening to high-end speakers in your living room. The materials are also good quality and very comfortable and compact. The previous review seems to complain about his own personal issues, and not the quality of the product itself. I highly recommend this product.

I've used Bose and these when flying; these work almost as well as the Bose at 1/3rd the price. Bose were stolen so due to price I tried these and they work really well for cancelling noise on a plane.

Finally the set of noise cancelling headphones I wanted. Noisy train car, ranging from the train noise to the people talking. Doesn't matter to these. Always hear the same clear level and "tunes out" the outside volume as needed. Comfortable, not so big they cover everything (I wear glasses and the bigger ones press on the ear pieces, these don't). Can wear them at home with the home stereo, quality sound. Love 'em.

I tried this product since it was on sale. I hated to pay the Bose price that supports their marketing. The Sony product was small for the ear and the headset got rather warm after a couple of hours. Also, I didn't find the noise dampening very good from what Bose offers.

First off the quality if the sound gives you pretty decent base. The noise reducer I say is a 9/10 because it requires a battery (which comes with it) to . You will barely hear people talking

A great set of headphones which can block out most external noises. Not 100% but for the money, unbeatable!
