Sony - PlayStation 3 Legacy Bundle - 500GB

Great bang for the buck of 500 GB of memory. If you need to replace your PlayStation three and can't wait for the PlayStation 4 come out later on this year. It's a great stop gap. But the sliding trade to remove the disk comes across as cheap. But when you consider that here 500 GB of memory and two additional games a free remote-control trial membership PlayStation +. I believe that this is overall a great deal. And would recommend that if your PlayStation is not functioning and you can't wait for the PS 4 that this is about a good deal as you get on the PlayStation three.I have the original PlayStation three it had backwards palatability meaning that it you are able to play your PlayStation two games on it. four controller recharging ports they slot for SanDisk. This newer version does not allow for that but I believe that the guys at PlayStation or interested in developing the PlayStation four. That going backwards to the PlayStation three. On both systems you can play video Blu-ray you have online connectivity. On the newer version you have more enough memory to store any videos, music, pictures, or anything else that you can think of including all of your game data and trophies I've been playing with the newer system for about a month and have no problems with it so far. It is a great gaming system a great Blu-ray player, a great place to store your music, videos, pictures and connect to the Internet. It's easy to set up, it's a good price considering everything you did and I guess if you can't get over the fact that it does not have an eject button anymore and that you have to slide back a trade manually to remove the disk which is sometimes still spinning when you remove it. If you are in the market for Blu-ray player why not get this and be able play video games as well believe the PlayStation is probably about the best Blu-ray player out there.

I purchased this PlayStation 3 after my original 60gb version got the YLOD. I love the uncharted series, and I like the Grand Turismo games as well. The Hard dive is great as well with 500gb. The Blue-ray drive is on top of the system and you slide the door to the left to open it. Please keep in mind that I am comparing this to an original 60gb and it is somewhat of a downgrade and upgrade for me. The Good: One, I like the power button it's not touch sensitive anymore. You will need to press it. No more accidental turn-ons. Two, The blue-ray drive doesn't turn on the system you can remove and replace the CD without having to turn the system on and off. Three, The controller is not Glossy like the old ones. the old one feels more slippery compared to this one. Four, they were kind enough to include a USB cable for the controller The Bad: One, It doesn't have memory card slots. Two, It only has 2 USB ports compared to my old one, which has 4. Three, No backwards compatibility. Four, No HDMI Cable was Included. All-in-all it's an excellent buy I am really happy with it.

We all know what the PS3 is about. I would of liked the games to be in it's original cases (considering I'm paying 300 dollars for this product), and with the long install times, those are my two only gripes with the system. To the very good news, the games are very fun and have good replay value. The controller DOES come with a charging cable as well. The PS3 isn't my favorite design, but it's the most cost effective and space saving one out of them all. Very good value and highly recommended!

Well, It took long enough for me to upgrade from my beloved PlayStation 2 ( and that took even longer from my PlayStation One!) , but I am glad I did. The wireless controller works well when charged. I haven't tested the just how far a distance away from the console you can go but needless to said it works just fine from my LaZboy recliner. You can still play while the controller is connected to main console with USB cable. But you have to sit closer to the PlayStation when connected and don't swing your arms around too much or the whole thing will crash to the floor. That's why it safer to keep the console on the floor. I find. Anyway, so far great graphics, good controller response. Set up does take a while.

I love my PS3. It took me a while to make the choice to get it and I finally broke down and said what the heck. Now, I can't stop playing it. I find it a good way to relax after a long day at work. The choices of games make it so I never have to be game free. I do wish it had backward capability but that's asking too much. Well, maybe on the PS4. LOL

This bundle was an excellent value. I had never played the inFamous games before buying this bundle. Right away I bought the first inFamous used for about $3 and ended up loving the game. Still haven't finished the second one yet but it's even better than the first. Great graphics, and games available. The free month of playstation plus makes transferring any data from an old console very easy. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought my PS 3 (after being a long-time Xbox'er) so that I could play the system's exclusives. I've been very pleased with it. Lots of options in the system interface. Easy access to online store. Game selection, performance, and visuals are on par with the competition. The large hard drive is nice, and I've used it to store full-size games purchased online. The system is fairly quiet, and reasonably compact. The bundle games are also a good variety of to help a new user, or gamer, get their feet wet with what is out there in the gaming world for purchase.

My Ps3 slim (original) broke so bought this as a replacement! Excellent price for what you get. DO NOT like the whole sliding of the door for discs, prefer the old way where the system ejected or accepted it. The games also are Meh, they come in a cardboard sleeve, not an actual game case, so kinda stuck with it, can't really trade it in at gamestop or anything. Otherwise AWESOME SYSTEM!!
