Sony - PlayStation Now Starter Kit - Black

Bought this starter kit shortly after purchasing a Playstation 4 so that I could have a second controller. Purchased it on black friday for $39.99. Great value because not only do you get the controller, you also get a charging cable and 1 month free subscription of Playstation Now. I believe if you purchase a controller by itself you will not get the charging cable and you won't get the playstation now 1 month free subscription. This is a great deal.

Well worth buying. You get a Dualshock 4 controller, charging cable and one month of PS Now. Why wouldn't you buy this instead of just a controller? It cost the same.

I had added a multitude of items to my cart as I was purchasing my PS4, a few games, and some accessories, and was not too crazy about the $65 price tag on a controller. This item came up as a recommended item and it was on sale for $50 at the time. I looked into it, and in essence, this was the same controller I was already purchasing but at a lower price. This was enough for me to buy this item rather than just the controller, but it also includes a free month of PlayStation Now. Although I have not activated my free month, I have looked into the list of currently available games on PlayStation Now and it is something I am most definitely interested in. I am still fully absorbed by the games I have purchased thus far, so it may be a while before I activate my subscription. This controller combo, especially when it's on sale, is a great deal. I would purchase this item again if and when it's time for a new controller.
