Wireless Stereo Headset Micro-USB cable Hybrid silicone rubber earbuds (SS, S, M, L x 2) Carrying pouch Cable adjuster Instruction Guide Safety and Informational Guide Warranty Guide Setup/Testing/Usage: Alright. This is what everyone's been waiting for. So, first impressions as far as comfortability goes; it fits right and feels good on your ears. Setup was extremely easy. I got it paired to both my Android device as well as my iPhone. I like the fact that on the iPhone, you can see the battery bar next to the Bluetooth logo on the top right. Sound right off the bat sounds good; crisp, clean, and clear. Bass is nice for sure though, it has a nice "oomph". The material that is holding the 2 ear pieces (where it goes on the back of your neck) can do this rubbing thing on your clothing. It kinda gets a little annoying if you're moving your head from left to right. As far as the noise cancellation goes though, it is definitely great. So that means, make sure you workout without a shirt! I tested out the calling capability and I have to say, I am impressed. I called several people and all of them said my voice is clear, crisp, and easy to hear. The microphone is located on the right ear piece. As far as charging goes, it took me about an hour and a half. I've been using it for about an hour or a little more and the battery icon is still full. But I'm sure it'll go down to probably 75 percent at once, at least that is what happens to my other Bluetooth devices that have the capability of tracking the battery on an iPhone (75%, 50%, 25%, dead). As far as controls go on the right ear piece, its not the easiest to press. Its definitely not the hardest to press. What I mean is, because the buttons are located on back of the ear loop that goes around your ear; you sometimes end up folding your ear in half. This is because you need something to grip as you're pushing the buttons. Once you get accustomed to it though, you may be able to hold the actual loop and then push the buttons instead of your ear. The thing I like by the way is that its water resistant so that you can give them a good wet wipe down. I mean... When you workout, you're bound to build up sweat on these. So having then water resistant is nice for a easy clean up. Conclusion: I would definitely recommend these if you're looking into purchasing a new wireless headset. They fit really comfortable and don't really bother you while you're doing what you need to do. The only thing I don't like as I mentioned is the cable that goes on your back neck. When you move a certain way it makes a weird "friction" noise and it can get quite annoying. But overall, if you can see past that; these are excellent. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because of that "issue". The sound quality for music and calling is fantastic though. So for me, I can see past that "rubbing friction issue". Sony, keep doing what you're doing and just make that "small" improvement.

Clear, full sound from tiny headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used these hang-on-the-ear type earbuds before and didn't like them. From proper fitting to poor sound, a few headphones I've had like this were pretty much a waste of money. Having gotten these, wasn't really expecting much from them even though it was Sony. However, just after a few minutes of using these, I am astounded by how well they fit as well as how they sound. The fit of these is surprisingly good. Previous headphones I've used were either too tight/small or loose and I never really got a good fit from them. These slip on easily and hold their place quite well. Sight issue is with the placement of the power button. It's really not that readily accessible and whenever you try to turn the power on/off, it jostles the headphones in the process which is a tad annoying. The sound is what I was surprised with the most. Mids/Highs came in nicely and there is a prominent, but not boomy, bass from these. These are extra bass models so it's to be expected however, I thought the lows from these headphones were quite good. Only issue with these is the cord. As with most other earbuds, whenever you walk/move, the cord will brush up against your clothes or something and you can hear it through the headphones. While the noise isn't that prominent on these, it is still noticeable. I guess it's to be expected. Overall, great set of earbuds. I'm planning on using these while riding the subway however these are pretty suitable for just about any use.

Great Bass Response In A Small Package
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently received this pair of Sony Wireless In-ear Headphones, Xb80bs to review. These fit behind the ear very well even with my glasses on. I never have the feeling like they are going to fall off. Sony also send it with it's own pouch for storage and a micro usb charging cable, and four different sized ear bud ends. I love the bass response these headphones have with such a small foot/ear print. I really appreciate the NFC capabilities, you tap your phone on the headphones and the headphones power up and connect to your phone. Controls while listening to music and podcasts are easy to find and easy to use. Call quality is exceptional with out a bunch of background noise being picked up through the microphone. An absolute bonus is their splash resistant housing. I really can only find one negative, and I don't think it is avoidable, when the cable that connects the two earpieces rubs on clothing the noise is transferred into your ear. My resolution, turn up the volume.

Super For All Physical Activities Senior Friendly
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Living in North Central Florida heat and humidity are always abundant. Rain showers from April to September are the norm. So, moisture is always present in one form or another for eight months of the year. But, these kinds of weather conditions also enable me to stay 'active' outdoors most every day. So, I eagerly jumped at the opportunity to receive the Sony, MBR-XB80BS Sports Wireless Headset in exchange for an honest and comprehensive review. I love listening to music whether indoors or out, and have done so all my 73 years. Surrounding myself with music indoors is never a problem. However, trying to listen to music outdoors while doing my early AM, five-mile walk, and while working in my garden and yard has been disappointing. Playing music on a portable radio was tolerable as long as I wasn't too far from the radio. Then the issue of my neighbors to consider regarding volume. So, I tried the 'water-resistant 'Walkman' style sports radios, but you had to strap the radio to your arm and wear an 'over-the-head' plastic strap from ear to ear, which just did not stay on with any of my outdoor activities. I even tried an inexpensive pair of ear buds, which plugged right into my Apple 5s. They also would not stay plugged into my ears with any physical activity. Then, Apple and most phones eliminated the 3.5mm auxiliary plug. So, after upgrading my phone there was no 3.5mm outlet to plug in to. Yuk! With all of my non-successes of trying to listen to music outdoors, I never gave 'wireless' a second thought. I thought the construction of outdoor headphones/ear buds was still the same old, same old. What a pleasant surprise this Sony Sports Wireless Headset turned out to be. YooHoo! For the past nine days I have worn this headset during my five-mile, morning walk exercise, and, while working in my yard and garden. Since they have a 'water resistance' feature, I even wore them while washing my car. However, like any new personal device it took me several days to get used too, especially the controls. But, they are designed and constructed with wear-ability and fit as the main features. Sure, the extra bass is good, but if the headset doesn't fit and stay on and in your ear during your physical activities, you can't enjoy it. In my opinion the design of these ear clips is most impressive. They are constructed with non-slip, engraved grooves, so as to keep firmly in place on/in your ears while you actively move your head and bounce your body from side to side and, or, up and down. Additionally, the clips are constructed with a camber like spring action. In other words when you place the clip behind your ear there is an opposite 'springy' action effect to keep the ear bud firmly, but gently in your ear (much like a paper clip). The sound is totally awesome, especially the bass, particularly after I learned to fit them into my ears correctly. WooHoo! The Bluetooth, wireless connection to my mobile phone allows me to play music, receive, and send phone calls. I must admit the controls on the right ear clip takes a little getting used to, and could use a more 'user-friendly' design. However, as a Senior, the feather-weight of this unit, approximately one ounce total (27g), is outstanding. The voice guidance feature is another impressive feature. She lets you know when the unit is 'ON/OFF', needs charging, low-battery level, and Bluetooth connection 'ON/OFF'. The multi-function controls on the right hand ear clip are simple, but tricky to use. Takes some practice using. TIP: If you use a Windows computer' USB plug to charge your unit make sure your settings enable the USB power even when your unit goes to sleep. In Windows 10 you can go to Control Panel, System & Security, to Power Options – then in Preferred Plans change your plan settings to enable the USB connections while the computer goes 'to sleep' for at least two hours, the time it takes to charge your Sony Wireless Headset completely. If you don't change these setting your USB plug will stop functioning when the computer goes 'to sleep' and won't fully charge your unit. I love using this Sony Wireless Headset for exercise and all sorts of outdoor chores. I wind up charging this unit pretty much daily, and, at night for convenience. Because of the heat and moisture here when I am done for the day I wipe the ear clips and buds down gently with a mild-disinfecting wipe since the clip is mostly plastic and impervious to moisture. Although, the operating instructions only specify a dry cloth to clean them. Keep in mind this unit is water resistant not water proof. You cant use them in pools, hot tubs, bath or shower. But, they have performed well in the high humidity and damp conditions of North Florida. I highly recommend this Sony Wireless Sports Headset for young or old for any kind of physical activities. I bought my sister one for Christmas because she is also an active 'walker' and gardener, who loves 'Easy-Listening' music from her mobile phone . . . . For you personally, or as a Holiday gift, friend's, relatives, or birthday present. Don't forget the Seniors on your list. You won't be disappointed.

Great Headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these price matched and only paid $73. That being said, for that price, these are great. Not sure I'd be willing to pay the full $150 they usually are; not that they're not worth it, but that's just too much for me. The sound quality is great, bass is outstanding. Range is OK, I haven't tested it too much, but walking from one end of the house to the other and the signal starts breaking up (2bd house; not that big). The battery life seems good, but I haven't really tested that either. I use it for a couple of hours each time and after the third time I charge them. As far as style goes, not good, not bad, they are what they are. They are pretty comfortable though and really light. They also come with different earbud sizes so you can find your perfect fit. The one and really only complaint I have about these headphones is the cable. As other reviews have noted, you can hear any rustling and rubbing against your clothes/neck through the wire, however, with the sound about halfway, you can't really hear the rustling. Also the cable feels a little too stiff. Hopefully after a while the wire will soften up a bit.

Glad I got these...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical of purchasing these at first but am so glad that I did. The sound was almost on par with my Yamaha EP-50 wired earbuds, albeit it a little bass heavy and not quiet the same timbre reproduction value as those little beauties. That's not to say that its harsh or muddied, just not quiet the same level, but maybe I can play with some EQ settings to compensate. A quick 15 or so minute charge bought me enough time to do some snow management for a good hour and a half or so at a pretty high volume. While taking care of the aforementioned snow, I will say that they stayed in place pretty well given the amount of motion I exerted and in conjunction with fighting with my jacket collar, a hat, and long hair. I think if took the time to try the various sizes of ear jellies then they may have performed flawlessly. One potential con is when I tried to make a phone call with them. There was some really weird effect going on that made them virtually useless, but I can't lay full blame on them just yet because I was on a new phone (so it could be a fault of that) and had rotten reception where I was to begin with.

Great sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everyone's ears are different, so it may take a bit to figure out how these fit your ears best, but Sony provides four different ear bud sizes to get the right fit. The battery life has been great so far, getting close to or better than the estimated 6 hours on each charge. Very few cutouts with the connectivity. Sound quality is fantastic. You can definitely hear the boosted bass.

Q: QuestionDo this earphones have bottom on it to adjust the volume and answering phone calls?
Asked by Theguy.
- A:Answer Personally own these and they do not have a direct volume control to your phone but do have dual use volume and track control buttons. You can adjust the volume on the headphones indirectly, meaning if you have your Bluetooth volume to high on your phone you can still turn the volume on the in ear headphones higher or lower separate from your phone. Also, you can use the volume buttons to move to the next track or back.
