Israel Trip

Great alternative to a cellphone app
||Posted .Not having a "smartphone", I purchased this voice translator for an upcoming trip to Europe. Just from playing around with it so far, I like that it is compact, super easy to use, can be operated with WiFi or used anywhere that a cellphone can and is loud enough to be heard. I know a little bit of Greek and the device translated what I said accurately. It is so Star Trek-ish. I showed it to the person I'll be traveling with and they bought one as well. Based on my initial impressions, I can highly recommend the Pocketalk Voice Translator.

Fun item to use!
||Posted .Owned for 7 months when reviewed.I originally bought this to go on a trip to Egypt. However, the Arabic language on the device is very formal and not “slang” like Egyptians talk. However, I Do use it at work (I’m a nurse) to talk to patients who speak foreign languages. It works well for very basic communication. A German doctor I work with loves it! My dad is from Holland and he says it is very accurate.

It’s easy for my Mom to use and she does not need to find an app which would be hard for her as she is 92 years old.

- A:Answer Yes but you have to hold button when anyone talk. also it’s better if you connect with WiFi. I like this device my kids learning Arabic and it help them a lot.
