Spartacus the series started off really strong with season one and continued on through the end. Although they had to tweak certain things between season one and the following seasons I believe they did a geat job with the unfortunate circumstances they faced. I wish the same actor from season one could have made it to the end of the series however that was not possible. Usually when you have to change major cast members the show suffers, but for Spartacus that was really not the case. With this final season we were able to see all the main characters throughout the seasons come together and fight. You are in for lots of blood, Gore, and action. Good ending to what was a great series.

While I was deeply saddened at the passing Andy Whitfield, I was a little apprehensive about the idea of someone else playing his role. But when this second (third if you include Gods of the Arena) season came out and I was introduced to Liam McIntyre in Andy's role as Spartacus I was pleasantly surprised how well he fit the role. If you enjoyed s1 of Spartacus then I'd recommend continuing the saga and see of the rebellion can conquer Rome.

I love this series. I have watched all of the seasons on Starz except for the last season...I ended my subscription. I haven't made it through the entire season yet but so far it has not disappointed!! The first 3 minutes of the first episode starts off with an amazing fight scene and it only gets better from there. If you are familiar with the show, then you will expect the blood and gore. I found myself impressed with the introduction of new characters and the development of the old ones. I can't wait to finish it!

IS too bad that the series only made to three seasons because of what happenedto Andy. But the new Spartacus does is very well too. The series, although highly stylized, are very entertaining, with lots of action and bloody combats between romans and slaves. The guys who play the romans are spot on on the discipline and vengeance that the romans used to have and inflict on thier enemies.

The final season of Spartacus keeps you entangled in the lives of the main character and his band of rebel slaves as they go head to head against the Romans, but it seems this last season focuses more on the bloodshed and gore to keep the momentum going. Even so, the story continues to keep you interested in what happens next, up until its conclusion.

I still like the action and story line in this but still don't feel it mounts up to the original first season. I still think the first season is best. Maybe because of the original Spartacus. Yet, if you still like the series overall, then you will enjoy this.

From the moment I saw Spartacus I was hooked on the program. I loved the way it was filmed, from the raw language & nudity right down to the aspect of how they portrayed the honor that Gladiators must have had. Again, the only disappointment that I have is that the series is over.

If you like blood, gore, fighting, and nudity with very strong scenes, then this is the show for you. This is the last season, but they are all great. Unfortunatly the guy who first played as Spartacus died from cancer, but the new guy did a great job as a replacement.
