I bought this for the ipad mini that I bought for my nephew. He's not well behaved and very young, so I figured it would need some sort of protection. this is super cute, stands (hands free watching show) and the padding is very good, while still allowing easy access to the ipad buttons, charging, etc. If you've ever ordered covers/protectors, this can often be an issue. The only con thus far is that the arms ripped off pretty quickly.

My 4 year old daughter doesn't like change so I was hesitant to upgrade her iPad 1 and case to a mini and an iGuy. As soon as she saw it she was in love with her iGuy. This case has personality. Unlike some cases it supports the iPad mini to stand on its own. It is very protective and a few drops have resulted in no drama. The downsides are that it makes the iPad strange to use in portrait orientation. It is also difficult to get the iPad in and out of it. That may be good if you have rough kids and never remove it, but I do take mine out for cleaning.

Love the product. Needs adult supervision to put the I pad inside. Kids love it and handles make it easy not to drop it. But... Charger port is not easy to access
