It does NOT protect your phone in any way. I have never broken a phone yet and I just broken the back of my phone right after i put this case on my phone. I didn’t even drop my phone my phone was in my scrub pants and they were slightly tight and it cracked all the back of my phone. I have never had this issue before with any other phone or phone case. Super dissatisfied.

Really like this simple black case with matte texture. Has a slight grip without being too grippy. It doesn’t pick up fingerprints and dust as much as the super rubbery grip cases but it’s not slippery either. I have dropped my phone several times from waist height and it has protected it. Also easy to take off and on.
