I received this as a 2016 xmas gift two months ago. I was happy with the case but I noticed several small cracks forming on the lid at each corner. This computer never leaves my home and never under any stress. I think the case fits so tight the case just started cracking due to stress on the corners. One corner finally failed due to all the small cracks.

Snaps right on. It protects the laptop wonderfully and it is light sleek and stylish. It also seems to keep my macbook pro cooler. The texture and venting on the base is masterfully placed and this is a awesome product. I only wish I would have bought it sooner.
